توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الخميس)، رياحًا نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من مناطق مكة المكرمة، والمدينة المنورة، وتبوك تمتد إلى الأجزاء الغربية من مناطق الحدود الشمالية، والجوف، وحائل، والرياض كذلك على أجزاء من منطقتي نجران والشرقية، في حين تكون السماء غائمة جزئيًا إلى غائمة مع فرصة هطول أمطار خفيفة على أجزاء من شمال المملكة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية شرقية إلى جنوبية شرقية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وجنوبية إلى جنوبية شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 18-42 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 55 كم/ساعة باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، وارتفاع المـوج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى مترين ونصف باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج باتجاه مضيق باب المندب.
فيما تكون حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة 20-52 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather conditions for today (Thursday) active winds that stir up dust and sand, limiting horizontal visibility in parts of the Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk regions, extending to the western parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Hail, and Riyadh regions, as well as in parts of the Najran and Eastern regions. Meanwhile, the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light rain in parts of northern Saudi Arabia.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is from the northeast to southeast in the northern and central parts, and from the south to southeast in the southern part, at a speed of 18-42 km/h, reaching up to 55 km/h towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The wave height will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching up to two and a half meters towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, with the sea condition being light to moderate, becoming rough towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Meanwhile, the surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf is from the northwest to west at a speed of 20-52 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one and a half meters to two and a half meters, exceeding two and a half meters in the central and southern parts, and the sea condition is moderate to rough.
