حدّدت أمانة محافظة جدة (الثلاثاء) القادم 24/7/1447 موعداً لبدء فصل ورفع الخدمات عن المباني الآيلة للسقوط في حي الرويس بجدة، وذلك ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز السلامة العامة وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات ومعالجة المباني المتهالكة التي تشكّل خطراً على السكان والمشهد العمراني.
وأوضحت الأمانة، في بيانها أمس، أن الإدارة العامة للطوارئ والأزمات أنهت إشعار 1011 مبنى ضمن المرحلة الأولى، وصدرت بحقها قرارات إزالة من لجنة المباني الآيلة للسقوط بعد استكمال الإجراءات النظامية ومنح الملاك المهلة المحددة قبل التنفيذ.
وبيّنت أمانة جدة، أن أعمال فصل الخدمات ستتم بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية، تمهيداً لاستكمال الإزالة وفق الخطة المعتمدة، في امتداد لخطط سابقة نُفذت في أحياء الفيصلية والربوة والفاروق، وأسفرت عن إزالة 596 مبنى آيلاً للسقوط.
وأكدت الأمانة، أن هذه الخطوات تأتي ضمن برنامج متكامل لرصد ومعالجة المباني الخطرة في مختلف أحياء جدة، بما يواكب مستهدفات تحسين المشهد الحضري والارتقاء بجودة الحياة وتحقيق بيئة عمرانية آمنة ومستدامة.
ويقع حي الرويس وسط جدة، ويعد من الأحياء العريقة، وتجاوره أحياء الحمراء والشرفية والبغدادية، ويحاذي الحي طرقاً رئيسية وحيوية، أبرزها شارع فلسطين شمال الحي، ومن الشرق طريق المدينة المنورة، ومن الغرب شارع الأندلس، ومن الجنوب طريق الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز.
The Jeddah Municipality has set next Tuesday, 24/7/1447, as the date to begin disconnecting and removing services from buildings at risk of collapse in the Al-Ruwais neighborhood of Jeddah. This is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety, protect lives and property, and address dilapidated buildings that pose a danger to residents and the urban landscape.
The municipality clarified in its statement yesterday that the General Administration for Emergencies and Crises has completed the notification for 1011 buildings as part of the first phase, and demolition orders have been issued by the Committee for Buildings at Risk of Collapse after completing the necessary procedures and granting the owners the specified grace period before execution.
The Jeddah Municipality indicated that the disconnection of services will be carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities, paving the way for the completion of the demolition according to the approved plan, following previous plans implemented in the Al-Faisaliyah, Al-Rabwa, and Al-Faruq neighborhoods, which resulted in the removal of 596 buildings at risk of collapse.
The municipality emphasized that these steps are part of a comprehensive program to monitor and address hazardous buildings in various neighborhoods of Jeddah, in line with the objectives of improving the urban landscape, enhancing quality of life, and achieving a safe and sustainable urban environment.
The Al-Ruwais neighborhood is located in the heart of Jeddah and is considered one of the historic neighborhoods. It is adjacent to the Al-Hamra, Al-Sharafiyah, and Al-Baghdadiyah neighborhoods, and is bordered by major and vital roads, most notably Palestine Street to the north of the neighborhood, Medina Road to the east, Andalus Street to the west, and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road to the south.
