تبدلت حدائق أحياء النواريه بمكة المكرمة من أراضٍ مخضره يكسوها الجمال إلى أراضٍ قاحلة يابسه بعد ان قامت أمانة العاصمة المقدسة بقطع المياه عنها منذ أشهر عدة.
هذا القرار المفاجئ لسكان هذه الأحياء أضر بمرتادي هذه الحدائق التي يجتمع فيها الأهالي والعوائل والأطفال، إذ يلجؤون إليها بشكل مستمر لقربها من سكنهم خصوصاً كبار السن والأطفال.
سليم البقيلي أحد سكان أحياء نواريه مكة المكرمة قال: لقد أضر قرار أمانه العاصمة المقدسة بقطع الرى وإهمال الحدائق وسحب العمالة التي كانت تهتم بها فماتت الأشجار بعد سنوات من غرسها وزراعتها وماتت الأعشاب وأصبحت الحدائق صحاري قاحلة لا تسر الناضرين.
اختفاء "الخضراء"
في حين طالب عليان اللحياني بتدخل الأمانة وإعادة الاهتمام بحدائق الاحياء، وقال: هناك إداره بالأمانة للحدائق أتمنى منها أن تعيد الاهتمام بالحدائق العامة لخدمه سكان هذه الاحياء خصوصاً كبار السن إذ تعتبر هي المتنفس الوحيد لهم.
عمري السلمي من سكان حي النوارية أكد أن قرار الأمانة فاجأ سكان هذه الاحياء ففي الوقت الذي كانوا ينتظرون مزيداً من الاهتمام بالرقعة الخضراء وزيادة الأشجار والمزروعات قامت الأمانة بقطع السقيا عن الحدائق وسحب عمالتها منها وتركها مهملة جرداء قاحلة، فماتت الأشجار واختفت الرقعة الخضراء من حدائق العاصمة المقدسة، فأصبحت الأسر والأطفال وكبار السن بلا متنفس.
The gardens of the Al-Nawariyah neighborhoods in Mecca have transformed from lush green lands adorned with beauty to barren, dry lands after the Holy Capital Municipality cut off water supply to them several months ago.
This sudden decision has harmed the visitors of these gardens, where families, children, and the elderly gather, as they frequently resort to them due to their proximity to their homes, especially the elderly and children.
Suleiman Al-Buqaili, a resident of the Al-Nawariyah neighborhoods in Mecca, said: "The decision of the Holy Capital Municipality to cut irrigation and neglect the gardens, along with withdrawing the workers who used to care for them, has led to the death of the trees after years of planting and nurturing, and the grass has died, turning the gardens into barren deserts that do not please the eyes."
The Disappearance of "Greenery"
Meanwhile, Alyan Al-Luhayani called for the municipality's intervention and a return to caring for the neighborhood gardens, saying: "There is a department in the municipality for gardens, and I hope it will renew its attention to public gardens to serve the residents of these neighborhoods, especially the elderly, as they are their only outlet."
Omri Al-Sulami, a resident of the Al-Nawariyah neighborhood, confirmed that the municipality's decision surprised the residents of these neighborhoods. At a time when they were expecting more attention to the green areas and an increase in trees and plants, the municipality cut off irrigation to the gardens, withdrew its workers, and left them neglected and barren. As a result, the trees died, and the green areas in the Holy Capital's gardens disappeared, leaving families, children, and the elderly without an outlet.
