رعى أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في ديوان الإمارة اليوم (الأربعاء)، حفل تكريم الداعمين وشركاء النجاح لجمعية أفق لتنمية وتأهيل الفتيات بالمنطقة الشرقية، وذلك في إطار دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى تمكين المرأة وتعزيز مشاركتها في مسيرة التنمية.
وثمّن أمير المنطقة الشرقية جهود الجمعية في توفير بيئة عمل محفزة تقوم على تكافؤ الفرص لتمكين المرأة من تطوير قدراتها وتأهيلها، تماشياً مع توجيهات القيادة لتعزيز مشاركة المرأة في مختلف المجالات شريكاً أساسيّاً في التنمية الوطنية.
وألقت رئيسة مجلس إدارة جمعية أفق الدكتورة سعاد الدريويش، كلمة عبّرت فيها عن شكرها وامتنانها لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على رعايته للحفل، مثمّنةً الرعاية والحضور المشرف، وما يعكسه من اهتمام القيادة بتمكين المرأة ودعم مسيرتها التنموية.
وأوضحت الدريويش أن مبادرة رائدات الشرقية هي مشروع متكامل يهدف إلى تمكين الفتيات في المنطقة الشرقية من اكتساب المهارات العملية وريادة الأعمال في مجالات متنوعة ذات طلب متزايد في السوق المحلية، بما يفتح لهن آفاقاً واسعة لتحقيق الاستقلال المالي والمساهمة في الاقتصاد الوطني. وأضافت أن البرنامج ينفذ من خلال 6 مسارات تدريبية وتطبيقية متخصصة، تشمل ورش العمل، التدريب العملي، الإرشاد التجاري، وفرص التسويق والمشاركة في المعارض، ويوفر البرنامج بيئة دعم وشبكات تواصل مع خبراء ورواد أعمال لتسهيل انطلاق المشاريع.
وأكدت الدكتورة الدريويش أن الجمعية مستمرة في تطوير برامجها النوعية الهادفة إلى تمكين الفتيات، وتعزيز قدراتهن، وتحويل طموحاتهن إلى مشاريع ومبادرات ذات أثر اقتصادي واجتماعي مستدام، بما يسهم في بناء مجتمع حيوي واقتصاد مزدهر.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الداعمين وشركاء النجاح.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, hosted a ceremony today (Wednesday) at the Emirate's Diwan to honor the supporters and partners of success for the Ufuq Association for the Development and Rehabilitation of Girls in the Eastern Province, as part of the national efforts aimed at empowering women and enhancing their participation in the development journey.
The Prince of the Eastern Province praised the association's efforts in providing a stimulating work environment based on equal opportunities to empower women to develop their skills and qualifications, in line with the leadership's directives to enhance women's participation in various fields as a key partner in national development.
The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Ufuq Association, Dr. Suad Al-Driweesh, delivered a speech in which she expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his sponsorship of the ceremony, valuing the support and honorable presence, and what it reflects of the leadership's interest in empowering women and supporting their developmental journey.
Dr. Al-Driweesh explained that the Eastern Pioneers initiative is a comprehensive project aimed at empowering girls in the Eastern Province to acquire practical skills and entrepreneurship in various fields with increasing demand in the local market, opening wide horizons for them to achieve financial independence and contribute to the national economy. She added that the program is implemented through 6 specialized training and practical tracks, including workshops, practical training, business mentoring, and marketing opportunities and participation in exhibitions, providing a supportive environment and networking with experts and entrepreneurs to facilitate the launch of projects.
Dr. Al-Driweesh confirmed that the association continues to develop its quality programs aimed at empowering girls, enhancing their capabilities, and transforming their aspirations into projects and initiatives with sustainable economic and social impact, contributing to building a vibrant community and a prosperous economy.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince of the Eastern Province honored the supporters and partners of success.
