حثّت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، على تجنّب العبور العشوائي بالمركبات فوق الغطاء النباتي خلال التنزه في موسم الشتاء، حيث يعد أحد أبرز العوامل المسبّبة لتدهور المناطق البرية في المملكة.
وأوضحت الوزارة، أن غرامة دخول المركبات إلى المناطق البرية المحمية تصل إلى 2000 ريال لكل مركبة أو دراجة أو شاحنة. وبيّنت أن هذه العقوبات تأتي ضمن جهودها في تعزيز حماية الغطاء النباتي، والحد من الممارسات المؤثرة سلباً على التنوع الإحيائي، ومكافحة التصحر، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات المملكة في تحقيق الاستدامة البيئية وجودة الحياة.
وشدّدت «البيئة» على ضرورة الالتزام بالمسارات المخصصة للمركبات، ومنع الدخول العشوائي إلى الروضات والفياض البرية والمناطق المحمية؛ بهدف حماية الغطاء النباتي والحد من التعديات التي تتسبّب في تدهور البيئة واستنزاف مواردها الطبيعية.
ممارسات تعطل نمو النباتات
وأشارت الوزارة، إلى أن هذه الممارسات تعطل دورة النمو الطبيعي للنباتات، وترفع من احتمالات التصحر والجفاف، مما تزيد من تراجع التنوع الإحيائي في المناطق الحساسة بيئياً، لتنعكس سلباً على قدرة الأنظمة البيئية في دعم الحياة الفطرية والحفاظ على التوازن البيئي. ودعت الوزارة جميع فئات المجتمع إلى تبني السلوك البيئي الواعي، والالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات، والمشاركة في حماية الغطاء النباتي، مؤكدة أن المحافظة على البيئة مسؤولية مشتركة، للإسهام في ضمان مستقبل أخضر ومستدام للأجيال القادمة، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030. يأتي ذلك ضمن مستهدفات الحملة التوعوية التي أطلقتها الوزارة تحت شعار «شتانا صح» في نسختها الثانية، والتي تأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة في تعزيز الوعي البيئي وتفعيل السلوكيات الإيجابية، بما يسهم في الحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية، وتنمية الغطاء النباتي، ومكافحة التصحر وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has urged the public to avoid random crossings with vehicles over the vegetation during winter outings, as this is one of the main factors causing the degradation of wild areas in the Kingdom.
The ministry explained that the fine for entering vehicles into protected wild areas can reach 2000 riyals for each vehicle, bicycle, or truck. It indicated that these penalties are part of its efforts to enhance the protection of vegetation, limit practices that negatively impact biodiversity, and combat desertification, in line with the Kingdom's objectives to achieve environmental sustainability and quality of life.
The "Environment" ministry emphasized the necessity of adhering to designated vehicle paths and preventing random entry into pastures, wild floodplains, and protected areas; with the aim of protecting vegetation and limiting encroachments that lead to environmental degradation and depletion of natural resources.
Practices that disrupt plant growth
The ministry pointed out that these practices disrupt the natural growth cycle of plants, increase the likelihood of desertification and drought, and lead to a decline in biodiversity in environmentally sensitive areas, negatively affecting the ability of ecosystems to support wildlife and maintain ecological balance. The ministry called on all segments of society to adopt environmentally conscious behavior, comply with regulations and instructions, and participate in protecting vegetation, emphasizing that preserving the environment is a shared responsibility to contribute to ensuring a green and sustainable future for upcoming generations, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative is part of the awareness campaign launched by the ministry under the slogan "Our Winter is Healthy" in its second edition, which is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness and activate positive behaviors, contributing to the preservation of natural resources, the development of vegetation, combating desertification, and promoting environmental sustainability.
