In a new escalation against the ongoing Houthi violations, four members of the terrorist Houthi militia were killed, and others were injured, following an armed attack carried out by men from one of the tribes targeting a newly established checkpoint belonging to the militia in Al-Jawf Governorate (northeast Yemen).

Tribal sources confirmed a short while ago that the "Al-Mohammad" tribe has completely taken control of the "Al-Mahir" checkpoint in the "Afi" area of the Bart Al-Anan district in Al-Jawf Governorate, following intense clashes that resulted in the deaths of four members of the terrorist Houthi militia.

The sources clarified that the armed tribal attack was a decisive response to the militia's execution of three members of the tribe in a crime that sparked widespread outrage and mobilization among the tribes opposing the ongoing Houthi abuses and crimes.

These bloody confrontations highlight the unprecedented popular and tribal tension in Al-Jawf Governorate, as well as the fragility of the Houthi militia's control in the face of the raging tribal discontent due to the repeated crimes and violations against civilians and tribesmen who oppose the militia's coup projects and its interference with the security and stability of the region.

Yesterday, Al-Jawf Governorate witnessed a strike by traders in the markets of Bart Al-Anan and Bart Al-Marashi in protest against the crime committed by a Houthi gunman against one of the governorate's residents.

The protesting traders and residents in Al-Jawf confirmed the continuation of the closure of the two markets and the suspension of commercial activity until the demands of the victim's family and his blood relatives are met, and the accused Houthi member is handed over for trial and legal punishment.
