The Yemeni armed forces have expanded their air operations against the Houthi militia, launching two airstrikes today (Saturday) targeting new militia sites in the Al-Dhale'e governorate, as part of a series of strikes that previously hit military sites in Marib and Al-Jawf.

Media sources in Yemen reported that the warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the "Kulat Al-Qadi" site south of the city of Damt in Al-Dhale'e governorate, resulting in violent explosions at the targeted site.

Columns of Smoke Rising

Images circulating from the city of Damt showed thick smoke rising from the targeted site, following the two airstrikes that hit positions belonging to the Houthi militia.

The governor of Al-Dhale'e, Major General Ahmed Qaid Al-Quba, confirmed from the front lines of the combat zone the readiness of the fronts, which are awaiting directives from the leadership to completely liberate the areas occupied by the terrorist Houthi militia.

Targeting Rocket and Drone Platforms

The Yemeni television had earlier announced the targeting of rocket launch platforms and weapon depots belonging to the Houthi militia in the Marib and Al-Jawf governorates, in addition to other militia sites in the Al-Jawba, Al-Safra, and Majzar districts.

The television indicated that the strikes resulted in the deaths of several Houthi militia members.

Military Officials: Targeting Launch Platforms

In this context, Reuters reported from Yemeni military officials that the air force carried out strikes targeting the rocket and drone launch sites belonging to the Houthis in the Marib and Al-Jawf governorates, as part of ongoing military operations against the militia's military capabilities.
