وسّع أرسنال الفارق في صدارة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز لكرة القدم إلى تسع نقاط عن أقرب ملاحقيه، بعد فوزه على ضيفه سندرلاند بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي أُقيم اليوم (السبت) على ملعب الإمارات بالعاصمة لندن، ضمن الجولة الـ(25) من منافسات المسابقة.
وبهذه النتيجة، رفع أرسنال رصيده إلى (56) نقطة في الصدارة، فيما تجمّد رصيد سندرلاند عند (36) نقطة في المركز التاسع.
وحقّق تشلسي فوزًا على مضيفه ولفرهامبتون بنتيجة (3 - 1)، على ملعب مولينيو بمدينة ولفرهامبتون، ليصل للنقطة الـ(43) في المركز الخامس، فيما يحتل ولفرهامبتون المركز الأخير بثماني نقاط فقط.
وتعادل بورنموث مع ضيفه أستون فيلا بهدف لكلٍ منهما، على ملعب فيتاليتي بمدينة بورنموث، ليتقاسم الجانبان نقاط اللقاء حيث يتواجد أستون فيلا في المركز الثالث بـ(47) نقطة، فيما يمتلك بورنموث (34) نقطة في المركز الـ(11).
وتغلَّب إيفرتون على مضيفه فولهام بنتيجة (2 - 1)، على ملعب كرافن كوتج بمدينة لندن، ليصعد للمركز السابع بـ(37) نقطة، فيما بقي فولهام عند (34) نقطة في المركز العاشر.
وفي صراع الهبوط، عزّز وست هام يونايتد آماله في البقاء، بعد فوزه على مضيفه بيرنلي بهدفين دون مقابل، على ملعب تورف مور ليرفع رصيده إلى (23) نقطة في المركز الـ(18)، فيما ازدادت معاناة بيرنلي في المركز قبل الأخير بـ(15) نقطة.
Arsenal extended its lead at the top of the English Premier League to nine points over its closest rivals after defeating Sunderland 3-0 in a match held today (Saturday) at the Emirates Stadium in London, as part of the 25th round of the competition.
With this result, Arsenal raised its tally to 56 points at the top, while Sunderland's points remained at 36 in ninth place.
Chelsea achieved a victory over its host Wolverhampton with a score of 3-1 at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, reaching 43 points in fifth place, while Wolverhampton occupies the last place with only eight points.
Bournemouth drew with its guest Aston Villa 1-1 at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth, with both sides sharing the points; Aston Villa is in third place with 47 points, while Bournemouth has 34 points in 11th place.
Everton defeated its host Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage in London, climbing to seventh place with 37 points, while Fulham remained at 34 points in tenth place.
In the relegation battle, West Ham United boosted its hopes of survival after winning against its host Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor, raising its tally to 23 points in 18th place, while Burnley’s struggles continued in second-to-last place with 15 points.
