نجح فريق Crazy Raccoon في حصد لقب OWCS Champions Clash 2025، ليؤمن مكانه في Midseason Championship، ويحقق لحظة انتقام طال انتظارها.
أقيمت البطولة في Hangzhou Esports Center، وجمعت نخبة من أقوى الفرق ضمن سلسلة Overwatch Champions Series. بدأ Crazy Raccoon مشواره بانتصار قوي بنتيجة 2-0 على Spacestation Gaming في ربع نهائي الـUpper Bracket، لكن رحلتهم توقفت مؤقتاً بعد خسارة 3-1 أمام NTMR في نصف النهائي، ما أرسلهم إلى Lower Bracket.
رغم الانتكاسة، عاد الفريق بقوة وبعزيمة كبيرة، حيث أطاح بـVirtus.pro بنتيجة 3-1، ثم اكتسح فريق Once Again بنتيجة 3-0، وفي مواجهة ثأرية مرتقبة، تغلب على NTMR بنتيجة نظيفة 3-0، ليحجز مكانه في النهائي الكبير.
في النهائي، واجه Crazy Raccoon فريق Team Falcons، نفس الفريق الذي هزمهم في نهائي OWCS World Finals لعام 2024، لكن هذه المرة كانت الغلبة لـCrazy Raccoon بنتيجة 4-2، في انتصار يُعد بمثابة رد الاعتبار وحصد اللقب المستحق.
لاعب الدعم Kim «Shu» Jin-seo عبّر عن مشاعره على وسائل التواصل قائلاً: «جي جي للجميع. من المؤلم الخسارة أمام فريق فالكونز، لكن أيضاً الشعور رائع عندما نفوز عليهم». هذا الفوز يمثل لحظة تعويض حقيقية لـShu وزملائه، الذين نجحوا أخيراً في التفوق على الفريق الذي حرمهم من اللقب في العام الماضي. كما حصل Shu على جائزة MVP في OWCS Champions Clash بفضل أدائه الرائع.
أما لاعب الـChoi «MAX» Su-min فقد شارك مشاعر الامتنان تجاه الجماهير عبر رسالة باليابانية، مشيراً إلى أن دعمهم المتواصل كان وراء هذا الإنجاز، وأضاف: «أحب فريقي من كل قلبي».
بهذا الانتصار ضمن Crazy Raccoon تأهله رسمياً إلى OWCS Midseason Championship، المقرر تنظيمه ضمن فعاليات Esports World Cup2025.
The Crazy Raccoon team succeeded in clinching the title of OWCS Champions Clash 2025, securing their spot in the Midseason Championship and achieving a long-awaited moment of revenge.
The tournament was held at the Hangzhou Esports Center, bringing together a selection of the strongest teams in the Overwatch Champions Series. Crazy Raccoon began their journey with a strong victory, defeating Spacestation Gaming 2-0 in the Upper Bracket quarterfinals, but their journey was temporarily halted after a 3-1 loss to NTMR in the semifinals, sending them to the Lower Bracket.
Despite the setback, the team returned with great strength and determination, eliminating Virtus.pro with a score of 3-1, then sweeping the Once Again team 3-0. In a highly anticipated rematch, they overcame NTMR with a clean 3-0 victory, securing their place in the grand final.
In the final, Crazy Raccoon faced Team Falcons, the same team that had defeated them in the OWCS World Finals of 2024. However, this time Crazy Raccoon triumphed with a score of 4-2, marking a victory that served as a redemption and earned them the well-deserved title.
Support player Kim «Shu» Jin-seo expressed his feelings on social media, saying: “GG to everyone. It’s painful to lose to the Falcons, but it also feels amazing when we win against them.” This victory represents a true moment of compensation for Shu and his teammates, who finally managed to surpass the team that denied them the title last year. Shu also received the MVP award in the OWCS Champions Clash for his outstanding performance.
Meanwhile, player Choi «MAX» Su-min shared his gratitude towards the fans through a message in Japanese, indicating that their continuous support was behind this achievement, and added: “I love my team with all my heart.”
With this victory, Crazy Raccoon officially secured their qualification for the OWCS Midseason Championship, set to be held as part of the Esports World Cup 2025.
