The company "SILQ" announced the successful closure of financing facilities worth 100 million US dollars (equivalent to 375 million Saudi riyals), through a partnership with major regional and international investment institutions, including "Jim Corp Capital," "Vasanara Capital," and "Amaal Capital Partners," coinciding with the first anniversary of the company's establishment following the merger of the "Sari" and "Shop App" platforms.
SILQ aims, through this funding, to accelerate the growth of its "Fina" platform, which specializes in providing integrated financing solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling entrepreneurs and merchants to obtain financing and working capital instantly and directly within their daily business flows.
Mohammed Al-Dosari, co-founder of SILQ and CEO of the financial arm, confirmed that the funding represents a fundamental step in addressing the liquidity challenges facing the business sector, noting that the "Fina" platform was created to provide innovative and rapid financial solutions that align with the daily commercial pace of merchants, freeing them from slow traditional procedures.
It is worth mentioning that the "SILQ" system has successfully served over 300,000 merchants across Saudi Arabia and South Asia, and has supported more than 50,000 establishments in the Saudi market alone, completing transactions exceeding 20 billion Saudi riyals.
Additionally, the "Fina" platform has provided financing exceeding 1.5 billion riyals over the past twelve months, and aims to inject new liquidity worth 3 billion riyals during this year to support the growth of establishments and enable them to expand.
