أعلن محافظ صندوق الاستثمارات العامة ياسر الرميان، أن السعودية ستقوم بتحديد الاستراتيجية الجديدة لصندوق الاستثمارات العامة خلال الشهرين القادمين تقريباً، التي ستستكمل الاستراتيجية الأولى حتى عام 2030، ثم تمتد بعد ذلك وصولاً إلى عام 2040 وما بعده.
وقال خلال ندوة في واشنظن: «إن متوسط معدل العائد الداخلي في صندوق الاستثمارات ارتفع إلى 7.2% بعدما كان 2% سابقاً».
وأضاف: «هدفنا جعل قيمة الصندوق 1,075 مليار دولار قبل نهاية السنة ثم تريليوني دولار على الأقل قبل 2030، مقابل ما بين 925 الى 930 مليار دولار حالياً».
إنتاج أرامكو
وفيما يتعلق بأرامكو، أوضح الرميان أن تكلفة استخراج النفط تراوح بين 3 إلى 3.5 دولار للبرميل، وعزا انخفاض الكلفة عن الشركات الأخرى بسبب الاعتماد على التكنولوجيا الحديثة خصوصاً الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وأفاد بقوله: «إن أرامكو لديها القدرة على إنتاج 12 مليون برميل يومياً، والإنتاج الحالي يصل إلى 10 ملايين، ويمكن رفعه 20 % في غضون أيام، ولنحقق ذلك لا بد أن نستكشف أكثر».

The Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, announced that Saudi Arabia will define the new strategy for the Public Investment Fund over the next two months, which will complete the first strategy until 2030 and then extend to 2040 and beyond.
He said during a seminar in Washington: "The average internal rate of return in the investment fund has risen to 7.2% after being 2% previously."
He added: "Our goal is to make the value of the fund $1.075 trillion before the end of the year, and then at least $2 trillion before 2030, compared to between $925 to $930 billion currently."
Aramco Production
Regarding Aramco, Al-Rumayyan clarified that the cost of extracting oil ranges between $3 to $3.5 per barrel, attributing the lower cost compared to other companies to the reliance on modern technology, especially artificial intelligence.
He stated: "Aramco has the capacity to produce 12 million barrels per day, and current production reaches 10 million, and it can be increased by 20% within days, but to achieve that, we must explore more."
