The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi, confirmed that the ministry is moving forward in empowering Saudi youth and women by building capacities, providing quality training programs, and facilitating the journey of entrepreneurs to be a key driver of growth and innovation.

This came during Minister Al-Rajhi's meeting today with men and women entrepreneurs in the Asir region, as part of activating direct communication with the business sector in the regions and enhancing the strategic partnership with the chambers of commerce to empower national competencies and achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Minister Al-Rajhi praised the pivotal role of the Abha Chamber in serving the business sector.

The meeting began with a speech delivered by the Chairman of the Saudi Chambers Federation and Chairman of the Abha Chamber, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, who welcomed the minister and the accompanying delegation, praising the visit that reflects the integration of national policies with the aspirations of the business sector. He highlighted the chamber's role as a strategic platform for conveying the voice of investors and working with partners to provide an attractive investment environment that generates quality job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the region, emphasizing the strength of the relationship between the ministry and the private sector as a fundamental pillar for economic and social development.

The meeting included a presentation about the Training and Localization Center at the Abha Chamber, showcasing its achievements in qualifying and employing national competencies in promising sectors such as tourism, hospitality, and technology, through quality programs that meet market needs.

The meeting also featured a dialogue session in which the minister discussed the challenges facing the business and employment sectors, exchanged views on developing the business environment, improving the efficiency of services provided through labor offices, and expanding training and qualification programs to meet the investment requirements in the region.

The meeting concluded with a confirmation of the continuation of joint work to develop practical plans that enhance empowerment and open new horizons for promising investment in the Asir region, achieving the desired economic and social prosperity. A number of officials and business men and women from the region attended the meeting.
