The number of point-of-sale transactions in the Kingdom during the period from August 17 to 23, 2025, reached (213,176,000) transactions, with a value of (13,407,434,000) riyals, compared to (13,471,640,000) riyals for the same previous period.

According to the weekly bulletin from the Saudi Central Bank on point-of-sale transactions, the number of transactions in transport reached (5,201,000) with a value of (972,183,000) riyals, the number of transactions in health reached (9,072,000) with a value of (793,936,000) riyals, the number of transactions in restaurants and cafes reached (52,811,000) with a value of (1,547,194,000) riyals, the number of transactions in baked goods and sweets reached (4,577,000) with a value of (194,420,000) riyals, the number of transactions in hotels reached (779,000) with a value of (272,119,000) riyals, the number of transactions in food and beverages reached (48,937,000) with a value of (1,780,739,000) riyals, the number of transactions in clothing and accessories reached (8,338,000) with a value of (1,016,470,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in culture and entertainment reached (3,408,000) with a value of (351,098,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in professional and commercial services reached (13,883,000) with a value of (933,763,000) riyals, the number of transactions in electronic and electrical devices reached (1,463,000) with a value of (159,163,000) riyals, the number of transactions in furniture and household supplies reached (2,365,000) with a value of (448,257,000) riyals, the number of transactions in building materials and construction reached (2,239,000) with a value of (389,293,000) riyals, the number of transactions in jewelry reached (243,000) with a value of (268,493,000) riyals, the number of transactions in telecommunications reached (3,055,000) with a value of (124,258,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in education reached (270,000) with a value of (1,032,713,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in public utilities and services reached (660,000) with a value of (43,199,000) riyals, the number of transactions at fuel stations reached (16,833,000) with a value of (936,402,000) riyals, the number of transactions in laundry services reached (2,634,000) with a value of (45,802,000) riyals, and the number of other transactions reached (36,409,000) with a value of (2,097,932,000) riyals.

At the level of cities in the Kingdom, the number of weekly point-of-sale transactions in Riyadh reached (69,546,000) with a value of (4,904,817,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Mecca reached (8,263,000) with a value of (495,666,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in Medina reached (8,338,000) with a value of (491,266,000) riyals.

The number of point-of-sale transactions in Tabuk reached (4,336,000) with a value of (233,896,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Hail reached (3,552,000) with a value of (191,082,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Abha reached (3,907,000) with a value of (220,486,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in Buraidah reached (4,836,000) with a value of (318,238,000) riyals.

The number of point-of-sale transactions in Khobar reached (4,321,000) with a value of (411,396,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Dammam reached (8,577,000) with a value of (671,800,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Jeddah reached (24,425,000) with a value of (1,770,840,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in other cities reached (18,318,000) with a value of (808,148,000) riyals.
