شهّرت وزارة التجارة بمدير مشتريات شركة تجارية يمني الجنسية بعد صدور حكم قضائي نهائي يدينه بمخالفة نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري، نتيجة حيازة منتجات استهلاكية مغشوشة وغير مطابقة للمواصفات القياسية.
وضبطت الفرق الرقابية للوزارة، أثناء القيام بجولاتها التفتيشية بمحافظة خميس مشيط، 24,200 قطعة صحون بلاستيكية غير مطابقة للمواصفات القياسية المعتمدة.
وصدر حكم قضائي نهائي من محكمة الاستئناف بمنطقة عسير، متضمناً فرض غرامة مالية، وإغلاق مقر المنشأة لمدة 3 أيام، ومصادرة وإتلاف المنتجات المغشوشة، ونشر الحكم على نفقة المخالف.
وتؤكّد «التجارة» التصدي لمخالفي نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري وتطبيق العقوبات النظامية ضدهم، إذ ينص النظام على فرض عقوبات تصل إلى السجن ثلاث سنوات، وغرامات مالية تصل إلى مليون ريال أو بهما معاً، والتشهير بالمخالفين على نفقتهم.
The Ministry of Commerce has publicly named the purchasing manager of a commercial company of Yemeni nationality after a final court ruling convicted him of violating the Anti-Commercial Fraud System, due to possessing counterfeit consumer products that do not meet standard specifications.
The ministry's inspection teams seized 24,200 pieces of plastic plates that did not comply with the approved standard specifications during their inspection rounds in the province of Khamis Mushait.
A final court ruling was issued by the Court of Appeal in the Asir region, which included imposing a financial fine, closing the establishment for 3 days, confiscating and destroying the counterfeit products, and publishing the ruling at the violator's expense.
The Ministry of Commerce confirms its commitment to confronting violators of the Anti-Commercial Fraud System and applying legal penalties against them, as the system stipulates penalties of up to three years in prison, financial fines of up to one million riyals, or both, along with publicizing the violators at their expense.
