وقّع الرئيس التنفيذي للصندوق السعودي للتنمية سلطان بن عبدالرحمن المرشد مع وزير المالية بجمهورية طاجيكستان قهرزودا فايز الدين ستور اتفاقية قرض تنموي لتمويل مشروع الطريق الدائري لمدينة كولياب بقيمة (30) مليون دولار، بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى طاجيكستان وليد بن عبدالرحمن الرشيدان، إذ تجسّد هذه الاتفاقية الشراكة التنموية الوثيقة التي تمتد لأكثر من 20 عاما بين الجانبين.
ويهدف هذا المشروع إلى إنشاء طريق يشمل بناء جسرين، لرفع كفاءة وتحسين السلامة المرورية، وانسيابية الحركة الدولية بربط دول وسط آسيا مع جمهورية الصين الشعبية ودول المحيط الهندي، عبر النقل البرّي لضمان التنقّل الآمن للبضائع والمركبات، ما يعزز النمو والازدهار الاجتماعي والاقتصادي.
وفي سياق متصل، شارك الرئيس التنفيذي، بحضور نائب وزير مالية طاجيكستان يوسف مجيدي، والسفير الرشيدان، في وضع حجر الأساس لمدرسة ثانوية في مقاطعة دانقارا ضمن مشروع تشييد وتجهيز عدد من المدارس الثانوية (المرحلة الخامسة) الذي يموّله الصندوق بقيمة (20) مليون دولار، ويشتمل المشروع على إنشاء (11) مدرسة ثانوية بسعة إجمالية تتجاوز (7) آلاف طالب وطالبة، في إطار دعم الصندوق للقطاع التعليمي في مختلف مناطق طاجيكستان، كما تتضمن المراحل الأربع السابقة للمشروع إنشاء (57) مدرسة في مناطق متفرقة بتمويل من الصندوق بقيمة (75) مليون دولار.
وتأتي هذه الإسهامات في إطار نشاط الصندوق لتعزيز الفرص التنموية والحيوية في طاجيكستان، من خلال تمويل مشاريع وبرامج تنموية مستدامة لدعم قطاعات البنية الاجتماعية والنقل والمواصلات والطاقة، نحو تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة وركائز المسيرة الإنمائية الرئيسية في الجمهورية.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أنه بدأ نشاط الصندوق السعودي للتنمية في جمهورية طاجيكستان منذ عام 2002، إذ قدّم الصندوق التمويل لتنفيذ (14) مشروعا وبرنامجا إنمائيا من خلال قروض تنموية ميسّرة تتجاوز قيمتها (323) مليون دولار في مختلف القطاعات الحيوية التي من شأنها رفع جودة الحياة.
The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid, signed a development loan agreement with the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qahruzoda Faizuddin Stor, to finance the circular road project for the city of Kulyab, valued at (30) million dollars, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tajikistan, Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Rashidan. This agreement embodies the close developmental partnership that has lasted for over 20 years between the two sides.
This project aims to establish a road that includes the construction of two bridges, to enhance efficiency and improve traffic safety, and facilitate international movement by connecting Central Asian countries with the People's Republic of China and Indian Ocean countries, through land transport to ensure the safe movement of goods and vehicles, thereby promoting social and economic growth and prosperity.
In a related context, the CEO, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Finance of Tajikistan, Yusuf Majidi, and Ambassador Al-Rashidan, participated in laying the foundation stone for a high school in the Danghara district as part of the project to construct and equip several high schools (Phase Five), which is funded by the fund at a value of (20) million dollars. The project includes the establishment of (11) high schools with a total capacity exceeding (7) thousand students, as part of the fund's support for the educational sector in various regions of Tajikistan. The previous four phases of the project included the establishment of (57) schools in various areas, funded by the fund at a value of (75) million dollars.
These contributions come as part of the fund's activities to enhance developmental and vital opportunities in Tajikistan, through financing sustainable development projects and programs to support the sectors of social infrastructure, transportation, and energy, towards achieving sustainable development goals and the main pillars of the developmental journey in the republic.
It is noteworthy that the activities of the Saudi Fund for Development in the Republic of Tajikistan began in 2002, as the fund has provided financing for the implementation of (14) development projects and programs through concessional development loans exceeding (323) million dollars in various vital sectors that aim to improve the quality of life.
