أصدرت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء، اليوم، نشرة إحصاءات النقل الجوي لعام 2024، التي أظهرت نموًا ملحوظًا في حركة الركاب والشحن الجوي عبر مطارات المملكة مقارنة بعام 2023.
وبحسب نتائج النشرة، بلغ إجماليُّ عدد الركاب في مطارات المملكة أكثر من 128 مليون راكب، بزيادة بلغت 15% مقارنة بالعام السابق.
وأوضحت النشرة أن عدد ركاب الرحلات الدولية يزيد على 69 مليون راكب، مرتفعًا بنسبة 14% عن عام 2023، فيما بلغ عدد ركاب الرحلات الداخلية أكثر من 59 مليون راكب، بزيادة بلغت 16% عن عام 2023.
وتصدّر مطار الملك عبدالعزيز الدولي قائمة المطارات من حيث عدد الركاب، إذ استقبل نحو 49 مليون راكب، بنسبة نمو بلغت 14%، تلاه مطار الملك خالد الدولي، حيث بلغ عدد المسافرين والقادمين من خلاله 37.6 مليون راكب بنسبة نمو بلغت 18%، ثم مطار الملك فهد الدولي الذي بلغ عدد المسافرين عبره 12.8 مليون راكب بنسبة نمو بلغت 15%.
كما أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط عدد الركاب اليومي للرحلات الداخلية في مطارات المملكة بلغ نحو 162 ألف راكب، في حين بلغ متوسط الركاب اليومي للرحلات الدولية نحو 189 ألف راكب.
وفيما يتعلق بالشحن الجوي، كشفت النشرة أن إجمالي كميات الشحن بلغت 1.2 مليون طن خلال عام 2024، مسجلة زيادة بنسبة 34% مقارنة بعام 2023، حيث كان شهر مارس الأعلى من حيث حجم الشحن بواقع 123 ألف طن.
وتوزعت كميات الشحن الجوي بين الشحن الصادر الذي بلغ 64 ألف طن والشحن الوارد بكميات بلغت 720 ألف طن، إضافة إلى الشحن العابر حيث بلغ 407 آلاف طن.
وفيما يخص أسطول الطائرات، أظهرت نتائج النشرة أن إجمالي عدد الطائرات العاملة في المملكة بلغ 361 طائرة في عام 2024، محققًا نموًا بنسبة 11% مقارنة بعام 2023.
وتصدّر أسطول الطائرات التجارية عدد الطائرات حيث بلغ 258 طائرة بزيادة قدرها 12%، منها 97 طائرة بسعة تفوق 250 مقعدًا، فيما بلغ عدد الطائرات العامة 103 طائرات، بزيادة قدرها 7%.
يُذكر أن نشرة إحصاءات النقل الجوي تصدر سنويًا عن الهيئة العامة للإحصاء؛ وتهدف إلى توفير بيانات ومؤشرات دقيقة عن حركة النقل الجوي في المملكة، بما يشمل حركة الركاب والرحلات والشحن، عبر الطيران التجاري والعام، دعمًا لمسارات التطوير في قطاع النقل الجوي.

The General Authority for Statistics issued today the Air Transport Statistics Bulletin for 2024, which showed a significant growth in passenger and air freight traffic through the Kingdom's airports compared to 2023.
According to the bulletin's results, the total number of passengers at the Kingdom's airports exceeded 128 million, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year.
The bulletin indicated that the number of international flight passengers exceeded 69 million, rising by 14% from 2023, while the number of domestic flight passengers was more than 59 million, with an increase of 16% from 2023.
King Abdulaziz International Airport topped the list of airports in terms of passenger numbers, receiving about 49 million passengers, with a growth rate of 14%. It was followed by King Khalid International Airport, where the number of travelers arriving and departing was 37.6 million, with a growth rate of 18%, and then King Fahd International Airport, which had 12.8 million travelers, with a growth rate of 15%.
The results also showed that the average daily number of passengers for domestic flights at the Kingdom's airports reached about 162,000 passengers, while the average daily number of passengers for international flights was about 189,000 passengers.
Regarding air freight, the bulletin revealed that the total volume of freight reached 1.2 million tons during 2024, recording an increase of 34% compared to 2023, with March being the highest month in terms of freight volume at 123,000 tons.
The air freight volumes were distributed between exports, which reached 64,000 tons, and imports, which amounted to 720,000 tons, in addition to transit freight, which reached 407,000 tons.
As for the aircraft fleet, the bulletin's results showed that the total number of operational aircraft in the Kingdom reached 361 in 2024, achieving a growth rate of 11% compared to 2023.
The commercial aircraft fleet led the number of aircraft, totaling 258, with an increase of 12%, including 97 aircraft with a capacity exceeding 250 seats, while the number of general aviation aircraft reached 103, with an increase of 7%.
