Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday: "Russia will be able to restore diesel exports to levels that exceed those announced by U.S. President Donald Trump under an agreement with Moscow."
Trump announced on Friday that Russia had agreed to supply diesel to global markets after his administration temporarily lifted U.S. sanctions on Russian fuel.
Novak added, "We will see how the situation develops, but Russia has the capacity to increase diesel fuel exports, and by the end of the year, exports could range between 3 million and 3.5 million tons per month, returning to the levels they were at before the crisis."
