واصلت أسعار النفط التراجع خلال تعاملات (الثلاثاء)، لتهبط دون مستوى 80 دولاراً للبرميل، بعدما أعرب وزير الخزانة الأمريكي سكوت بيسنت عن اعتقاده بأن التوصل إلى اتفاق لإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز قد يحدث «اليوم أو غداً».
ويراقب المستثمرون حركة الملاحة في هرمز عن كثب لتقييم آفاق عودة تدفقات النفط والغاز عبر الممر المائي الاستراتيجي إلى طبيعتها، في حين يبدي محللو الشحن البحري قدراً أكبر من الحذر مقارنةً بتفاؤل وزير الخزانة الأمريكي.
عدم يقين
وفي التداولات، ارتفعت أسعار النفط بأكثر من 2%، في وقت سابق من اليوم، بسبب حالة عدم اليقين بشأن احتمالات التوصل إلى اتفاق بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.
وانخفضت أسعار العقود الآجلة لخام برنت القياسي، تسليم شهر أكتوبر القادم 2026، بنسبة 4.69%، لتصل إلى 79.78 دولار للبرميل.
وهبطت أسعار العقود الآجلة لخام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي، تسليم سبتمبر القادم 2026، بنسبة 5.41%، لتصل إلى 75.99 دولار للبرميل، بحسب الأرقام التي تتابعها لحظياً منصة الطاقة المتخصصة (مقرّها واشنطن).
تقلبات حادة
وتراجع الخامان القياسيان خلال الجلسة الأخيرة بنسبة 7.11%، و5.11% على التوالي، عند أدنى مستوى لهما في 3 أسابيع.
وشهدت أسعار النفط تقلبات حادة خلال الأشهر القليلة الماضية، إذ قفز خام برنت إلى 100.69 دولار للبرميل عند التسوية في 23 يوليو، قبل أن يتراجع خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة مع تصاعد التوترات الجيوسياسية ثم انحسارها تدريجياً.
Oil prices continued to decline during trading on Tuesday, dropping below the $80 per barrel mark, after U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Pisent expressed his belief that an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz could happen "today or tomorrow."
Investors are closely monitoring shipping movements in Hormuz to assess the prospects of oil and gas flows through the strategic waterway returning to normal, while shipping analysts are showing greater caution compared to the optimism of the U.S. Treasury Secretary.
Uncertainty
In trading, oil prices rose by more than 2% earlier today due to uncertainty regarding the likelihood of an agreement between the United States and Iran.
Futures prices for Brent crude, for delivery in October 2026, fell by 4.69%, reaching $79.78 per barrel.
Prices for West Texas Intermediate crude futures, for delivery in September 2026, dropped by 5.41%, reaching $75.99 per barrel, according to real-time figures tracked by the specialized energy platform based in Washington.
Sharp Fluctuations
The two benchmark crude oils declined during the last session by 7.11% and 5.11%, respectively, at their lowest levels in three weeks.
Oil prices have experienced sharp fluctuations over the past few months, with Brent crude jumping to $100.69 per barrel at settlement on July 23, before declining in recent weeks as geopolitical tensions escalated and then gradually subsided.
