أعلن وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية صالح الجاسر أن السعودية أطلقت 27 خطاً ملاحياً جديداً منذ بداية أزمة حرب إيران، في إطار الحفاظ على انسيابية حركة التجارة وتعزيز مرونة سلاسل الإمداد.
التعامل مع المتغيرات
وقال الجاسر، في مقابلة مع «العربية Business»: «المملكة نجحت في نقل حركة التجارة من الشرق إلى الغرب بسلاسة خلال الفترة الماضية، بما يعكس قدرة القطاع اللوجستي على التعامل مع المتغيرات وضمان استمرارية تدفقات التجارة».
وأشار وزير النقل إلى أن إنشاء منطقة تفويج الشاحنات في ميناء جدة جاء استجابةً لكثافة حركة الشاحنات. وبين أن المنطقة الجديدة تتمتع بطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 40 ألف شاحنة يومياً، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة العمليات اللوجستية وتنظيم حركة النقل.
The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, announced that Saudi Arabia has launched 27 new shipping routes since the beginning of the Iran War crisis, as part of efforts to maintain the smooth flow of trade and enhance the resilience of supply chains.
Dealing with Changes
Al-Jasser stated in an interview with "Al Arabiya Business": "The Kingdom has successfully transferred trade flows from east to west smoothly during the past period, reflecting the logistics sector's ability to deal with changes and ensure the continuity of trade flows."
The Minister of Transport pointed out that the establishment of the truck staging area at the Port of Jeddah was a response to the high volume of truck traffic. He noted that the new area has a capacity of up to 40,000 trucks per day, which contributes to improving the efficiency of logistics operations and organizing transportation movements.
