قرع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب جرس افتتاح جلسة سوق الأسهم اليوم، من مكتبه بالبيت الأبيض، في حفل مشترك هو الأول من نوعه مع بورصتي نيويورك و«ناسداك».
وأُقيم الحفل بمناسبة إطلاق حسابات ترمب، وهي أدوات استثمارية جديدة مُعفاة من الضرائب مُخصصة للأطفال الأمريكيين، وحضره عدد من الرؤساء التنفيذيين ومسؤولين آخرين.
أكبر طفرة
وقال ترمب: «مع دقات جرس افتتاح سوق الأسهم ستبدأ هذه الحسابات بالنمو بالتوازي مع ازدهار اقتصادنا، وأعتقد جازماً أننا سنشهد أكبر طفرة على الإطلاق الآن».
وأضاف: «لم تروا شيئاً بعد، فبين التبرعات الفردية وصناديق التأسيس، سيتم استثمار 800 مليون دولار من رأس المال الجديد في سوق الأسهم لصالح أبناء أمريكا هذا الأسبوع».
وعلى صعيد التداولات، ارتفعت الأسهم الأمريكية عند افتتاح تعاملات اليوم، بدعم من مكاسب أسهم شركات الرقائق، مع تجاوز مؤشر «داو جونز» الصناعي مستوى 53 ألف نقطة للمرة الأولى على الإطلاق.
مستوى قياسي
وزاد سهم «برودكوم» بنسبة 5.5% إلى 380.4 دولار، عقب تمديد شراكتها مع «أبل» حتى عام 2031، كما صعد سهم «مارفل تكنولوجي» بنسبة 3.5% إلى 254.4 دولار.
وسجل مؤشر «داو جونز» الصناعي مستوى قياسياً جديداً عند 53,052 نقطة، مع صعود سهم «جولدمان ساكس» بنسبة 2.6% إلى 1,048.3 دولار.
في حين انخفض سهم «مايكروسوفت» بنسبة 2% إلى 383.4 دولار، بعدما أعلنت إلغاء 4,800 وظيفة، أي ما يعادل 2.1% من قوتها العاملة.
U.S. President Donald Trump rang the opening bell for the stock market today from his office in the White House, in a joint ceremony that is the first of its kind with the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
The ceremony was held to launch Trump Accounts, which are new tax-exempt investment tools dedicated to American children, and was attended by several CEOs and other officials.
Biggest Boom
Trump said, “With the ringing of the stock market opening bell, these accounts will start to grow in parallel with the prosperity of our economy, and I firmly believe that we will witness the biggest boom ever now.”
He added, “You haven’t seen anything yet, as between individual donations and endowment funds, $800 million of new capital will be invested in the stock market for the benefit of America’s children this week.”
In trading, U.S. stocks rose at the opening of today’s session, supported by gains in chip company stocks, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average surpassing the 53,000-point mark for the first time ever.
Record Level
The stock of Broadcom increased by 5.5% to $380.4, following the extension of its partnership with Apple until 2031, while the stock of Marvell Technology rose by 3.5% to $254.4.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average recorded a new record level at 53,052 points, with Goldman Sachs' stock rising by 2.6% to $1,048.3.
Meanwhile, Microsoft’s stock fell by 2% to $383.4 after it announced the cancellation of 4,800 jobs, which is equivalent to 2.1% of its workforce.
