أكد وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت أمس (الجمعة) خلال فعالية أقيمت في ولاية تكساس إن الولايات المتحدة ستعوض كل برميل نفط تسحبه من الاحتياطي الاستراتيجي للنفط.
وأضاف: «نسحب النفط الآن، ومقابل كل برميل نسحبه، سنعيد ما لا يقل عن 1.2 برميل من النفط إلى الاحتياطي».
ووفقاً لبيانات صدرت أخيراً عن «بيكر هيوز»، ارتفع عدد منصات التنقيب عن النفط في الولايات المتحدة خلال الأسبوع المنتهي في 15 مايو، ليواصل الزيادة للأسبوع الثالث على التوالي.
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright confirmed yesterday (Friday) during an event held in Texas that the United States will replace every barrel of oil it withdraws from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
He added, "We are drawing oil now, and for every barrel we withdraw, we will return at least 1.2 barrels of oil to the reserve."
According to recent data released by "Baker Hughes," the number of oil drilling rigs in the United States increased during the week ending May 15, continuing to rise for the third consecutive week.
