جدد وزير النفط الكويتي طارق الرومي، اليوم، التزام دولة الكويت بالعمل داخل «أوبك» و«أوبك+» بانسجام وتناغم وفق روح المسؤولية الجماعية والحوار البناء والتنسيق بهدف توازن السوق النفطية.
جاء ذلك في تصريح للوزير الرومي، عقب ترؤسه وفد دولة الكويت المشارك باجتماع الدول المشاركة في اتفاق التخارج من الخفض الطوعي للإنتاج الذي عقد عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
مستجدات السوق
وأكد الرومي أن الاجتماع يأتي في إطار المتابعة الشهرية لمستجدات السوق النفطية وبما يسهم في تعزيز أمن الإمدادات.
وأوضح أن الاجتماع يأتي استكمالاً لتنفيذ قرار التخارج من اتفاق الخفض الطوعي ورفع إجمالي الإنتاج وذلك في إطار النهج المتدرج والمتوازن وفق احتياجات السوق النفطية، إذ سيكون مقدار الزيادة 188 ألف برميل يومياً لشهر يونيو 2026، لافتاً إلى أن إنتاج دولة الكويت لشهر يونيو 2026 سيصل إلى 2.628 مليون برميل يومياً.
تعاون وتنسيق
وشدد الوزير الرومي على أن دولة الكويت باعتبارها عضواً مؤسساً في منظمة أوبك تؤكد بكل ثبات وحزم التزامها بترسيخ مبادئ التعاون والتنسيق بين الدول المنتجة داخل منظمة الدول المصدرة للبترول (أوبك)، وكذلك تحالف دول إعلان التعاون (أوبك بلس)، البالغ عددها حالياً 21 دولة، إذ يمثلان إطاراً أساسياً لاستقرار سوق النفط العالمية.
ونوه بالدور الإستراتيجي لمنظمة أوبك في المحافظة على مصالح الدول المنتجة واستقرار السوق النفطية وترسيخ حوار متوازن مع الدول المستهلكة. وبين قدرة المنظمة ونجاحها في المحافظة على توازن السوق العالمية ومواكبة نمو الاقتصاد العالمي.
The Kuwaiti Minister of Oil, Tareq Al-Roumi, today reaffirmed the State of Kuwait's commitment to working within OPEC and OPEC+ in harmony and coordination, in the spirit of collective responsibility, constructive dialogue, and coordination aimed at balancing the oil market.
This statement came from Minister Al-Roumi following his chairing of the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the meeting of the countries involved in the agreement to exit the voluntary production cuts, which was held via video conferencing.
Market Updates
Al-Roumi confirmed that the meeting is part of the monthly follow-up on oil market developments, contributing to enhancing supply security.
He explained that the meeting is a continuation of the implementation of the decision to exit the voluntary production cut agreement and to increase total production, in line with a gradual and balanced approach according to the needs of the oil market. The increase will be 188,000 barrels per day for June 2026, noting that Kuwait's production for June 2026 will reach 2.628 million barrels per day.
Cooperation and Coordination
Minister Al-Roumi emphasized that the State of Kuwait, as a founding member of OPEC, firmly and resolutely reaffirms its commitment to establishing principles of cooperation and coordination among producing countries within the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as well as the OPEC+ alliance, which currently includes 21 countries, representing a fundamental framework for the stability of the global oil market.
He highlighted the strategic role of OPEC in maintaining the interests of producing countries, stabilizing the oil market, and establishing a balanced dialogue with consuming countries. He pointed out the organization's ability and success in maintaining global market balance and keeping pace with global economic growth.
