أعلنت الحكومة المصرية، رفع أسعار عدد من المنتجات البترولية وغاز تموين السيارات، اعتبارًا من اليوم (الثلاثاء).
وبحسب القرار، ارتفع سعر بنزين 95 إلى 24 جنيهًا للتر بدلًا من 21 جنيهًا، كما صعد بنزين 92 إلى 22.25 جنيهًا بعد أن كان 19.25 جنيهًا. فيما ارتفع بنزين 80 إلى 20.75 جنيهًا للتر مقارنة بـ17.75 جنيهًا سابقًا. كما شملت الزيادة السولار، الذي ارتفع سعره إلى 20.5 جنيهًا للتر مقابل 17.5 جنيهًا.
ارتفاع أسعار أسطوانات الغاز
وامتدت الزيادات إلى أسطوانات الغاز المنزلي، حيث ارتفع سعر الأسطوانة سعة 12.5 كيلوجرامًا من 225 إلى 275 جنيهًا، بينما زاد سعر الأسطوانة سعة 25 كيلوجرامًا من 450 إلى 550 جنيهًا.
توترات المنطقة
وأوضحت الحكومة أن القرار جاء في ظل التطورات الجيوسياسية المتسارعة في الشرق الأوسط وتأثيرها المباشر في أسواق الطاقة العالمية، وهو ما أدى إلى ارتفاع ملحوظ في تكلفة الاستيراد والإنتاج.
كما أشارت إلى أن اضطرابات سلاسل الإمداد وارتفاع تكاليف الشحن والتأمين البحري أسهما في صعود أسعار النفط والمنتجات البترولية عالميًا إلى مستويات مرتفعة خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
تعزيز الإنتاج المحلي لتقليل الاستيراد
وأكدت الحكومة أنها تعمل على تعزيز الإنتاج المحلي من النفط والغاز عبر توسيع أنشطة الاستكشاف وتنمية الموارد، إلى جانب تحفيز شركاء الاستثمار على التوسع في أعمالهم داخل مصر.
وتهدف هذه الخطوات إلى تقليل فاتورة الاستيراد وتعزيز أمن الطاقة، مع متابعة مستمرة لتطورات الأسواق لضمان استقرار الإمدادات للسوق المحلية ومختلف القطاعات.
The Egyptian government has announced an increase in the prices of several petroleum products and automotive gas, effective today (Tuesday).
According to the decision, the price of 95 octane gasoline has risen to 24 pounds per liter instead of 21 pounds, while 92 octane gasoline has increased to 22.25 pounds after being 19.25 pounds. Meanwhile, 80 octane gasoline has risen to 20.75 pounds per liter compared to 17.75 pounds previously. The increase also affected diesel, which has risen to 20.5 pounds per liter from 17.5 pounds.
Increase in gas cylinder prices
The increases extended to household gas cylinders, with the price of the 12.5-kilogram cylinder rising from 225 to 275 pounds, while the price of the 25-kilogram cylinder increased from 450 to 550 pounds.
Regional tensions
The government clarified that the decision comes in light of the rapidly evolving geopolitical developments in the Middle East and their direct impact on global energy markets, which has led to a noticeable increase in import and production costs.
It also pointed out that supply chain disruptions and rising shipping and marine insurance costs have contributed to the rise in oil and petroleum product prices globally to high levels in recent times.
Enhancing local production to reduce imports
The government confirmed that it is working to enhance local production of oil and gas by expanding exploration activities and developing resources, in addition to encouraging investment partners to expand their operations within Egypt.
These steps aim to reduce the import bill and enhance energy security, while continuously monitoring market developments to ensure the stability of supplies for the local market and various sectors.
