أكد الأمين العام لاتحاد غرف دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي صالح الشرقي أن حجم التجارة البينية بين دول المجلس تجاوز 146 مليار دولار في 2024 بمعدل نمو 9.8% مقارنة بعام 2023، ما يعكس وجود فررص استثمارية واسعة أمام القطاع الخاص في قطاعات متعددة.

جاء ذلك خلال اللقاء الإعلامي الذي عقده اتحاد غرف دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، بمقره في محافظة الخبر، أخيراً، لاستعراض المنجزات والجهود في دعم القطاع الخاص الخليجي على المستويات الخليجية والإقليمية والدولية، وأبرز المنجزات للعام الماضي 2025، والخطط للعام الحالي 2026.
وأكد الشرقي مواصلة الاتحاد جهوده لتعزيز مساهمة القطاع الخاص الخليجي في زيادة حجم التجارة البينية، وتقديم المرئيات لتطوير الأطر التنظيمية وتسهيل انسياب السلع والخدمات، وتعظيم الفائدة من المنتديات الاقتصادية لطرح الفرص والتحديات، وإطلاق المزيد من المبادرات والبرامج الداعمة لتهيئة بيئة الأعمال بدول مجلس التعاون.
The Secretary-General of the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers, Saleh Al-Sharqi, confirmed that the volume of intra-trade among the Council's member states exceeded 146 billion dollars in 2024, with a growth rate of 9.8% compared to 2023, reflecting the existence of wide investment opportunities for the private sector in various sectors.
Opportunities and Challenges
This came during the media meeting held by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers at its headquarters in Al Khobar recently, to review the achievements and efforts in supporting the Gulf private sector at the Gulf, regional, and international levels, as well as the most prominent achievements for the past year 2025 and the plans for the current year 2026.
Al-Sharqi confirmed the Federation's continued efforts to enhance the contribution of the Gulf private sector in increasing the volume of intra-trade, providing insights to develop regulatory frameworks, facilitating the flow of goods and services, maximizing the benefits from economic forums to address opportunities and challenges, and launching more initiatives and programs to support the creation of a business environment in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
