في إطار الدعم السعودي المتواصل للملفات التنموية والشبابية في اليمن، وتأكيداً على حالة الاستقرار والنهوض التي تعيشها العاصمة اليمنية المؤقتة عدن، التقى مستشار قائد القوات المشتركة للتحالف اللواء فلاح الشهراني، ووزير الدولة محافظ عدن عبدالرحمن شيخ، بحضور مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في عدن المهندس أحمد مدخلي، عدداً من رؤساء الأندية الرياضية في المحافظة.
ركيزة التنمية الشبابية
وجرى خلال اللقاء التأكيد على الحرص المشترك على دعم الأنشطة والفعاليات الرياضية، لاسيما خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، لما تمثله الرياضة من دور محوري في تعزيز الروح الإيجابية لدى فئة الشباب، وتنمية قدراتهم، وترسيخ قيم التنافس الشريف وروح التعاون داخل النسيج المجتمعي اليمني.
رمزية «المريسي» التاريخية
وشدّد المجتمعون خلال اللقاء على الأهمية الاستراتيجية لإقامة «بطولة المريسي» هذا العام، باعتبارها واحدة من أبرز الفعاليات الرياضية التاريخية في عدن، لما تحمله من رمزية كبيرة لدى الشارع الرياضي، ودورها التاريخي في اكتشاف المواهب الشابة وإعادة الزخم للمشهد الكروي؛ مؤكدين أن إنجاح البطولة يمثل «أولوية مشتركة» وخطوة عملية لإحياء روح التنافس الإيجابي بين الأندية والجماهير.
رؤية مستقبلية شاملة
ولم يقتصر الاجتماع على الدعم الآني، بل شهد تباحثاً مستفيضاً حول وضع خطط مستقبلية تهدف إلى تطوير القطاع الرياضي عبر رؤية شاملة للنهوض بالمنشآت والأنشطة وتوسيع مجالات الدعم بما يسهم في الارتقاء بالحركة الرياضية في عدن إضافة إلى تمكين الشباب من خلال توفير بيئة خصبة لصقل مهاراتهم وإبداعاتهم.
ويأتي هذا التحرك ليبرهن على مضي المملكة العربية السعودية، عبر أذرعها التنموية، في مساندة اليمن، ليس فقط على الصعيد الإغاثي والأمني، بل وفي المجالات الحيوية التي تلامس شغف وطموحات الشباب اليمني وتطلعاته نحو استعادة الحياة الطبيعية وبناء المستقبل.
As part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing support for developmental and youth initiatives in Yemen, and to affirm the state of stability and progress in the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, the advisor to the commander of the coalition joint forces, Major General Falah Al-Shahrani, and the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, met with several heads of sports clubs in the governorate, in the presence of the director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Aden, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali.
Youth Development Focus
During the meeting, there was a mutual emphasis on the importance of supporting sports activities and events, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, due to the pivotal role that sports play in enhancing positive spirit among the youth, developing their capabilities, and instilling values of fair competition and cooperation within the Yemeni societal fabric.
The Historical Significance of "Al-Muraisi"
The attendees stressed the strategic importance of holding the "Al-Muraisi Championship" this year, considering it one of the most prominent historical sports events in Aden, due to its significant symbolism in the sports community and its historical role in discovering young talents and revitalizing the football scene. They affirmed that the success of the championship represents a "shared priority" and a practical step to revive the spirit of positive competition among clubs and fans.
A Comprehensive Future Vision
The meeting was not limited to immediate support; it also involved extensive discussions on developing future plans aimed at enhancing the sports sector through a comprehensive vision to improve facilities and activities, as well as expanding support areas that contribute to advancing sports movement in Aden, in addition to empowering youth by providing a fertile environment to hone their skills and creativity.
This initiative demonstrates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment, through its developmental arms, to support Yemen, not only in humanitarian and security aspects but also in vital areas that resonate with the passion and aspirations of Yemeni youth and their hopes for restoring normal life and building the future.
