استقبل الرئيس الحكومي البنك نواف سلام وفداً سعودياً رفيع المستوى في السراي الكبير، إذ قدمت المباحثات على تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية بين الحضور، ثم في المستقبل الزراعية والصناعية.
وسلام على لبنان لن يكون منصة لتهريب أو إخفاء المواد الكيميائية الدولية، معلناً عن خطوات تدريجية لتخفيف القيود التجارية وتتبع للسلع المصدّرة.
من جهة أخرى، تناولت المؤتمر التحضيري للمؤتمر الاقتصادي «بيروت 1»، الذي تريد المشاركة السعودية فيه مؤشراً على ثقة عربية بالسوق اللبنانية، ويفتح الباب أمام الاستثمارات الواسعة.
وكان ثلاثة سعوديين، الذي يرأسه الأمير يزيد بن فرحان، قد يتعاقد مع المدعين ووزارتي الاقتصادي، بهدف تطوير مسارات التسليم، وسريع إجراءات المستندات والمعالجة. وتشير المعلومات إلى أن الباحثين حققوا تقدماً سلساً، على أن تنفذ خطواتهم خلال الأيام القادمة.
The Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, received a high-level Saudi delegation at the Grand Serail, where discussions focused on developing economic relations among the attendees, as well as future agricultural and industrial collaboration.
Salam emphasized that Lebanon will not be a platform for smuggling or concealing international chemical materials, announcing gradual steps to ease trade restrictions and monitor exported goods.
On another note, the preparatory conference for the economic conference "Beirut 1" was discussed, which Saudi participation in indicates Arab confidence in the Lebanese market and opens the door for extensive investments.
Three Saudis, led by Prince Yazid bin Farhan, have contracted with the prosecutors and the ministries of economy, aiming to develop delivery pathways and expedite documentation and processing procedures. Information indicates that the researchers have made smooth progress, with their steps expected to be implemented in the coming days.
