القطاع السياحي يوظف 11% من عمالة المدينة

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Medina clarified that the tourism sector in the city represents an important economic tributary and is one of the largest sectors for employment in the region.
The report from the Medina Chamber of Commerce for the first quarter of 2025 indicated that the tourism sector ranks fourth among sectors in terms of the number of workers, accommodating more than 11% of the total workforce in the city.
According to the same report, Medina recorded the highest hotel occupancy rate in the Kingdom during the last quarter of 2024, with a serviced apartment occupancy rate of 48.7%, reflecting strong demand for tourism and hotel services in the city.
The report added that Medina ranks second in the Kingdom in terms of average tourist stay duration after Mecca, with an average of 4 nights, which reflects the city's continued appeal as a distinguished tourist destination in the Kingdom.
