شهدت العملات المشفرة تراجعات حادة عقب إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب عزمه فرض رسوم جديدة على الصين، ما أثار موجة قلق في الأسواق ودفع المستثمرين نحو الأصول الآمنة. وتكبدت «بيتكوين» خسائر قاسية، وهبطت بنحو 6%، إلى مستوى 109,960.92 ألف دولار.
وقال ترمب إن الصين أبلغت واشنطن بنيتها فرض قيود واسعة النطاق على الصادرات اعتباراً من الأول من نوفمبر، لتشمل معظم المنتجات التي تصنعها، وحتى بعض السلع التي لا تنتجها فعلياً.
وأضاف الرئيس الأمريكي أن الولايات المتحدة سترد بالمثل في التاريخ نفسه عبر فرض قيود على صادرات البرمجيات الحيوية، في خطوة قد تشعل جولة جديدة من التوترات التجارية بين أكبر اقتصادين في العالم.
وجاءت التصريحات لتدفع «بيتكوين» وغيرها من العملات الرقمية الكبرى إلى خسائر فورية، مع تزايد المخاوف من اضطرابات اقتصادية تؤثر على شهية المستثمرين للأصول عالية المخاطر.

These statements led to immediate losses for Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, as fears of economic disruptions increased, affecting investors' appetite for high-risk assets.
