وقعت وزارة الطاقة السورية مع الصندوق السعودي للتنمية مذكرة تفاهم تتضمن تقديم منحة إلى سوريا لتزويدها بـ 1.65 مليون برميل من النفط الخام.
وكانت السعودية قد أطلعت في الأسبوع الحالي حزمة مشاريع في سوريا تشمل تأهيل الطرق في دمشق وريفها وإعادة تأهيل مدارس ومستشفيات ومخابز في أرجاء البلاد، بعد أسابيع من تعهد المملكة استثمار أكثر من 6.4 مليار دولار في سوريا، بحسب وكالة «فرانس برس».
وشملت الاتفاقيات الموقع عليها مشروعا لتأهيل وترميم 34 مدرسة في محافظات حلب وإدلب وحمص، بالإضافة إلى تدشين مشروع لتجهيز 17 مستشفى بالأجهزة الطبية المنقذة للحياة وآخر لإعادة تأهيل نحو 60 مخبزا وخطا لإنتاج الخبز، كما تم التوقيع على اتفاق لإعادة تأهيل شبكات الصرف الصحي وآبار مياه في دمشق.

The Syrian Ministry of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Fund for Development that includes providing a grant to Syria to supply it with 1.65 million barrels of crude oil.
Saudi Arabia had presented this week a package of projects in Syria that includes rehabilitating roads in Damascus and its countryside, as well as renovating schools, hospitals, and bakeries across the country, following weeks of the Kingdom's commitment to invest more than $6.4 billion in Syria, according to the French news agency "AFP".
The signed agreements included a project to rehabilitate and restore 34 schools in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, and Homs, in addition to launching a project to equip 17 hospitals with life-saving medical devices and another to rehabilitate about 60 bakeries and a bread production line. An agreement was also signed to rehabilitate sewage networks and water wells in Damascus.
