Data from "Baker Hughes" showed a decline in the number of oil drilling rigs worldwide by 92 rigs year-on-year in July to 1,621 rigs, while the number is up by 22 rigs compared to the previous month.

The report from the oil services company revealed a decrease in the number of drilling rigs in the Middle East to 334 rigs in July on a monthly basis, which is down by 11 rigs compared to the same month last year.

The number of oil and gas drilling rigs around the world - excluding the U.S. and Canada - increased to 914 rigs on a monthly basis in July, but this represents a decline of 20 rigs year-on-year.
