أكد رئيس الوزراء الإسباني بيدرو سانشيز، أمس (الإثنين)، دعمه اتفاقية التجارة التي تم التوصل إليها بين الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي، لكنه وصف الاتفاقية «بدون أي حماس».
وأوضح في مؤتمر صحافي: «أُقدّر الموقف البناء والتفاوضي لرئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، على أي حال، أنا أؤيد هذه الاتفاقية التجارية، لكنني أفعل ذلك بدون أي حماس»، وفق وكالة «فرانس برس».
ونص الاتفاق على أن تخضع معظم صادرات الاتحاد الأوروبي، بما فيها السيارات، لرسوم 15%، وهي الحد الأقصى ولن تُضاف على رسوم أخرى.
وستُصدر الولايات المتحدة قراراً منفصلاً بشأن رسوم الرقائق والأدوية خلال أسبوعين، ولن تفرض واشنطن أو بروكسل أي رسوم جمركية على الطائرات ومكوناتها وبعض المواد الكيماوية.
وستبقى الرسوم على صادرات أوروبا من الصلب والألمنيوم عند 50%، لكن رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أكدت أنها ستُخفّض لاحقاً وتُستبدل بنظام حصص.
وتعهّد الاتحاد الأوروبي بشراء غاز أمريكي بـ750 مليار دولار خلال 3 سنوات بديلاً للروسي، وكذلك تعهّد باستثمار 600 مليار دولار إضافية داخل الولايات المتحدة خلال فترة ولاية ترمب الثانية، وتعهّد أيضاً بشراء كميات ضخمة من المعدات العسكرية الأمريكية.

The Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez confirmed yesterday (Monday) his support for the trade agreement reached between the United States and the European Union, but he described the agreement as "without any enthusiasm."
He explained at a press conference: "I appreciate the constructive and negotiating stance of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen; in any case, I support this trade agreement, but I do so without any enthusiasm," according to the French Press Agency.
The agreement stipulates that most EU exports, including cars, will be subject to a 15% tariff, which is the maximum and will not be added to any other tariffs.
The United States will issue a separate decision regarding tariffs on chips and pharmaceuticals within two weeks, and neither Washington nor Brussels will impose any tariffs on aircraft and their components or certain chemicals.
The tariffs on European steel and aluminum exports will remain at 50%, but the European Commission President confirmed that they will be reduced later and replaced by a quota system.
The European Union has committed to purchasing $750 billion worth of American gas over three years as a substitute for Russian gas, and it has also pledged to invest an additional $600 billion within the United States during Trump's second term, as well as to purchase large quantities of American military equipment.
