خفض الاحتياطي الفيدرالي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أسعار الفائدة بمقدار 25 نقطة أساس للمرة الثانية على التوالي، إلى النطاق 3.75% و4%، تماشياً مع التوقعات.
وجاء في بيان اللجنة الفيدرالية للسوق المفتوحة:
- النشاط الاقتصادي يتوسع بوتيرة معتدلة.
- نمو الوظائف تباطأ هذا العام.
- البطالة ارتفعت بشكل طفيف لكنها ضمن نطاق منخفض.
- التضخم ارتفع منذ بداية العام.
- لا يزال التضخم مرتفعاً قليلاً.
The Federal Reserve lowered interest rates today (Wednesday) by 25 basis points for the second consecutive time, to a range of 3.75% to 4%, in line with expectations.
The Federal Open Market Committee's statement said:
- Economic activity is expanding at a moderate pace.
- Job growth has slowed this year.
- Unemployment has risen slightly but remains within a low range.
- Inflation has increased since the beginning of the year.
- Inflation is still slightly elevated.
