أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، في قمة لقادة مجموعة بريكس، اليوم، أن النموذج الليبرالي للعولمة عفا عليه الزمن، وأن المستقبل سيكون للأسواق الناشئة سريعة النمو، التي ينبغي أن تعمل على زيادة استخدام عملاتها الوطنية في التجارة.
وقال بوتين إلى القمة المنعقدة في ريو دي جانيرو عبر رابط فيديو: «كل شيء يشير إلى أن النموذج الليبرالي للعولمة عفا عليه الزمن، مركز النشاط التجاري يتحول نحو الأسواق الناشئة».
ودعا بوتين دول «بريكس» إلى تكثيف التعاون في مجالات من بينها الموارد الطبيعية والخدمات اللوجستية والتجارة والتمويل.
وتمثل بريكس الآن 45% من سكان العالم، وكان لبنك غولدمان ساكس السبق في طرح فكرة تأسيس هذه المجموعة قبل عقدين، عندما تحدث في تقرير له عن النفوذ الاقتصادي المتنامي للصين وغيرها من الأسواق الناشئة الرئيسية.
ووفقا لصندوق النقد الدولي، يتجاوز الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الاسمي لأعضاء بريكس الخمسة الأساسيين (البرازيل وروسيا والهند والصين وجنوب أفريقيا) 28 تريليون دولار، بينما يزيد ناتج دول مجموعة السبع على 51 تريليون دولار.
وتضم «بريكس» أيضا مصر وإثيوبيا وإندونيسيا وإيران والإمارات، لكن التكتل يكتسب معظم نفوذه من الصين، التي يتجاوز ناتجها المحلي الإجمالي ناتج كل دول المجموعة مجتمعة بنسبة تزيد على 60%.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at a summit of BRICS leaders today that the liberal model of globalization is outdated, and that the future will belong to rapidly growing emerging markets, which should work to increase the use of their national currencies in trade.
Putin said at the summit held in Rio de Janeiro via video link: "Everything indicates that the liberal model of globalization is outdated, and the center of commercial activity is shifting towards emerging markets."
Putin called on BRICS countries to intensify cooperation in areas including natural resources, logistics, trade, and finance.
BRICS now represents 45% of the world's population, and Goldman Sachs was the first to propose the idea of establishing this group two decades ago when it discussed in a report the growing economic influence of China and other major emerging markets.
According to the International Monetary Fund, the nominal GDP of the five core BRICS members (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) exceeds $28 trillion, while the GDP of the G7 countries exceeds $51 trillion.
BRICS also includes Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, and the UAE, but the bloc derives most of its influence from China, whose GDP exceeds that of all the member countries combined by more than 60%.
