غيّب الموت الفنان محمد عبدالرحمن إمام بعد صراع طويل مع المرض، وأعلن عضو مجلس إدارة نقابة المهن التمثيلية الفنان منير مكرم، رحيل إمام بعد أيام قضاها في تلقي العلاج بأحد المستشفيات، فيما تتولى أسرته حالياً إجراءات الدفن بمقابر العائلة في محافظة القليوبية.
وترك الراحل خلفه مسيرة فنية امتدت سنوات طويلة تنوعت بين السينما والتلفزيون والمسرح، قبل أن يختار الابتعاد عن الأضواء والساحة الفنية منذ مشاركته الأخيرة في مسلسل «عقدة ماما عزيزة» عام 2007.
وقد بصم الفقيد ذاكرة الفن المصري بمشاركته في أعمال بارزة مثل أفلام «حب في الزنزانة» و«درب البهلوان» و«علمني الحب»، إلى جانب حضوره في فوازير «ألف ليلة وليلة» وعدد من العروض المسرحية الشهيرة مثل «بلال مؤذن الرسول» و«30 يوم في السجن».
The artist Mohamed Abdelrahman Imam passed away after a long battle with illness. Member of the Board of Directors of the Actors' Syndicate, artist Mounir Makram, announced Imam's passing after days spent receiving treatment in a hospital, while his family is currently handling the burial procedures at the family cemetery in Qalyubia Governorate.
The late artist left behind a long artistic career that spanned many years, encompassing cinema, television, and theater, before he chose to step away from the spotlight and the artistic scene since his last participation in the series "Aqdah Mama Aziza" in 2007.
The deceased left a mark on the memory of Egyptian art with his participation in notable works such as the films "Love in the Cell" and "The Clown's Path" and "Teach Me Love," in addition to his presence in the quiz show "One Thousand and One Nights" and several famous theatrical performances like "Bilal, the Prophet's Muezzin" and "30 Days in Prison."
