جاء ذلك خلال بث مباشر في فعالية «Mafiathon 3» مع صانع المحتوى كاي سينات، إذ قالت كيم: «يقضي أطفالنا ثماني ساعات يومياً في المدرسة، وعند عودتهم هم بحاجة للرياضة والأسرة، ولا أرى ضرورة لتكليفهم بواجبات منزلية إضافية».

أما شقيقة كيم كورتني كارداشيان فسبق أن وصفت التعليم التقليدي بأنه فكرة قديمة، معبرة عن تفضيلها التعليم المنزلي لأطفالها، وسائلة: «لماذا لا نتجاوز هذا التقليد البائد؟».
