شهد الشاطئ الجنوبي في مدينة العقبة حالة من الفوضى خلال حفل الشامي، بعدما انقطع التيار الكهربائي فجأة لأكثر من 45 دقيقة، ما أدى إلى تأجيل انطلاق الحفل وإثارة غضب واسع بين الحضور.
الحفل الذي اجتذب جمهوراً كبيراً من المحليين وزوار عرب من الداخل الفلسطيني، واجه منذ البداية مشكلات تنظيمية، أبرزها نقص المقاعد والاكتظاظ الشديد، إضافة إلى موقع غير مؤهل لاستضافة فعالية جماهيرية بهذا الحجم.
وأثناء انقطاع الكهرباء، اندلعت مشاجرات بين بعض الحضور، وتطورت إلى مواجهات مع عناصر الأمن الخاص، وأحياناً بين أفراد الأمن أنفسهم، حسب مقاطع فيديو متداولة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي. وتدخلت قوات الأمن العام لفض الفوضى واعتقلت عدداً من الأشخاص، في مشهد أثار استياء الحاضرين وألقى بظلاله السلبية على الحدث.
وأعاد تكرار هذه المشكلات إلى الواجهة الانتقادات السابقة لإدارة المهرجان، خصوصا بعد شكاوى مماثلة في حفلات سابقة، إذ أشار متابعون إلى أن المواقع المغلقة في أرض المعارض كانت أكثر ملاءمة من الشاطئ الجنوبي، الذي وصفوه بـ«غير المؤهل» لمثل هذه الفعاليات.
ووسط الغضب والخيبة، غادر العديد من الحضور قبل انطلاق الحفل رسمياً، فيما تداول آخرون على منصات التواصل مقاطع تظهر الفوضى التي عمّت المكان، مع دعوات لمراجعة أسلوب التنظيم لتجنب تكرار هذه المشاهد مستقبلاً.
The southern beach in the city of Aqaba witnessed a state of chaos during the Sham festival, after the power supply was suddenly cut off for more than 45 minutes, leading to a delay in the start of the event and widespread anger among the attendees.
The festival, which attracted a large audience of locals and Arab visitors from within Palestine, faced organizational problems from the outset, most notably a lack of seating and severe overcrowding, in addition to a location that was unfit to host an event of this size.
During the power outage, fights broke out among some attendees, escalating into confrontations with private security personnel, and sometimes even among the security staff themselves, according to videos circulating on social media platforms. Public security forces intervened to disperse the chaos and arrested several individuals, in a scene that sparked discontent among the attendees and cast a negative shadow over the event.
The recurrence of these issues brought back previous criticisms of the festival's management, especially after similar complaints at past events, as observers pointed out that the enclosed venues at the exhibition grounds were more suitable than the southern beach, which they described as "unfit" for such events.
Amid the anger and disappointment, many attendees left before the festival officially began, while others shared clips on social media showing the chaos that engulfed the area, along with calls to review the organizational approach to avoid repeating such scenes in the future.
