تحتفي جدة مساء الخميس القادم بانطلاق الدورة الثانية من ملتقى عزف الحروف لفنون الخط العربي، في أمسية فنية وثقافية تجمع كبار الخطاطين من داخل المملكة وخارجها، احتفاء بجماليات الحرف العربي وصون معاييره الفنية.
الافتتاح المقرر عند الساعة الثامنة مساء، سيشهد عرض 138 عملا فنيا أبدعها 105 خطاطين وخطاطات من 13 دولة، بينهم أسماء لامعة في سماء الخط العربي، إلى جانب ركن خاص لمتعلقات الكعبة المشرفة، ليكون الحدث منصة بصرية تحاكي الأصالة وتستشرف الحداثة.
الخطاط التشكيلي سعود شاكر خان، المنسق العام للملتقى، أكد أن هذه الدورة اعتمدت عملية فرز دقيقة بإشراف لجنة من كبار الخطاطين لضمان أعلى مستويات الجودة، بعيدا عن المجاملات، وبما يعزز قيمة الحرف العربي ويواكب رؤية المملكة 2030 في دعم الفنون البصرية كجزء من الهوية الحضارية.
وأضاف أن استمرار الملتقى في نسخته الثانية يعكس الحاجة الحقيقية لمثل هذه الفعاليات، والطموح أن يصبح منصة عالمية تجمع الخطاطين، وتدعم الحوار والتطوير والعمل المشترك، مشيدا بالدعم الذي حظي به، مؤكدا أن هذا التعاون يعزز مكانة الخط العربي عالميا.
الملتقى الذي يمتد حتى 28 أغسطس الجاري، يعد فرصة لعشاق الحرف العربي والموروث الثقافي للاقتراب من إبداعات نخبة من الفنانين، ومشاهدة أعمال تحكي تاريخا عريقا وفنا خالدا.
Jeddah will celebrate the launch of the second edition of the "Azzaf Al-Huroof" Forum for Arabic Calligraphy Arts next Thursday evening, in an artistic and cultural evening that brings together prominent calligraphers from within the Kingdom and abroad, honoring the aesthetics of the Arabic letter and preserving its artistic standards.
The opening, scheduled for 8 PM, will feature the display of 138 artworks created by 105 male and female calligraphers from 13 countries, including prominent names in the field of Arabic calligraphy, alongside a special section for items related to the Holy Kaaba, making the event a visual platform that reflects authenticity while anticipating modernity.
The visual calligrapher Saud Shakir Khan, the general coordinator of the forum, confirmed that this edition relied on a meticulous selection process supervised by a committee of senior calligraphers to ensure the highest levels of quality, free from flattery, and in a way that enhances the value of the Arabic letter and aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in supporting visual arts as part of cultural identity.
He added that the continuation of the forum in its second edition reflects the genuine need for such events, with the ambition to become a global platform that brings together calligraphers, supports dialogue, development, and joint work, praising the support it has received, and affirming that this collaboration enhances the status of Arabic calligraphy globally.
The forum, which runs until August 28, provides an opportunity for lovers of the Arabic letter and cultural heritage to engage with the creations of a select group of artists and to view works that tell a rich history and timeless art.
