في موقفٍ إنساني نبيل يُجسّد أسمى صور الوفاء والتكافل، أعلن الشاعر فيصل اليامي عبر حسابه الشخصي على «X»، عن تبرع صديقه مشعل بن سفر الغامدي بكليته له، ليضع حداً لمعاناة اليامي مع الفشل الكلوي التي استمرت نحو عامين.
وقال اليامي إنه أجرى عملية زراعة كلية ناجحة، معبراً عن شكره وامتنانه لصديقه الوفي مشعل الغامدي، داعياً الله أن يجزيه خير الجزاء ويكتب له الأجر المضاعف، مبيناً أن كلمات الشكر لا تفي هذه اللفتة الكريمة.
كما عبّر اليامي عن بالغ امتنانه لعائلته، وأصدقائه القريبين والبعيدين، ولكل من شمله بدعواته الصادقة طوال العامين الماضيين، مشيراً إلى أن دعمهم المعنوي شكّل ركيزة أساسية في تجاوز هذه المرحلة الحرجة.
واختتم فيصل اليامي حديثه بالإشادة بفريق مدينة الأمير سلطان الطبية العسكرية، وخصوصاً المدير التنفيذي لمركز التميز لزراعة الأعضاء بوزارة الدفاع الدكتور سلطان بن خالد الدلبحي، لحرصه ومتابعته الشخصية منذ تشخيص الحالة وحتى إجراء العملية.
الشاعر فيصل اليامي أحد نجوم الشعر في الخليج، ولمع نجمه من خلال قصائده التي تغنى بها نجوم الفن في الخليج ومن أبرزها: «يا كثر ما طولت» التي تغنى بها عبدالمجيد عبدالله، و«خلهم ينفعونك» بصوت الفنان عبدالله الرويشد، و«الكبر لله ودوم ابن آدم صغير»، و«فقدتك يا أعز الناس» بصوت حسين الجسمي، وتعاون مع علي بن محمد في أغنية «عيال حارتنا»، إضافة إلى العديد من القصائد المغناة الأخرى.
ويُعد أحد الإعلاميين البارزين في عالم الصحافة، وقدّم في 2019 برنامج «سامرين» على قناة «SBC»، وفي 2020 قدم برنامج «عن بُعد» على قناة «روتانا خليجية»، ومن قصائده التي لاقت رواجاً؛ «الزعل» و«الغرام» و«رماد الشوق» و«عيال حارتنا» و«لك عين» و«إن بعتني» و«رجال يام» و«مسكين» و«الدنيا ما تسوى» و«الصيف» و«الأطلال»، ما أكسبه حضوراً مميزاً في المشهد الشعري والإعلامي بالمملكة.
In a noble humanitarian gesture that embodies the highest forms of loyalty and solidarity, poet Faisal Al-Yami announced through his personal account on "X" that his friend Mishaal bin Safar Al-Ghamdi donated a kidney to him, putting an end to Al-Yami's suffering from kidney failure that lasted for nearly two years.
Al-Yami stated that he underwent a successful kidney transplant, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to his loyal friend Mishaal Al-Ghamdi, praying that God rewards him abundantly and grants him double the reward, noting that words of thanks do not suffice for this generous gesture.
Al-Yami also expressed his deep gratitude to his family, and to his close and distant friends, and to everyone who included him in their sincere prayers throughout the past two years, pointing out that their moral support was a fundamental pillar in overcoming this critical phase.
Faisal Al-Yami concluded his remarks by praising the team at Prince Sultan Military Medical City, especially Dr. Sultan bin Khalid Al-Dalbhai, the Executive Director of the Center of Excellence for Organ Transplantation at the Ministry of Defense, for his diligence and personal follow-up from the diagnosis of the condition until the operation was performed.
Poet Faisal Al-Yami is one of the stars of poetry in the Gulf, and his star has shone through his poems that have been sung by stars of art in the Gulf, including: "Ya Kithr Ma Tawalit" sung by Abdul Majid Abdullah, "Khalhum Yenfa'oonak" performed by artist Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, "Al-Kibr Lillah Wa Doom Ibn Adam Saghir," and "Faqadtak Ya A'az Al-Nas" sung by Hussein Al-Jasmi, and he collaborated with Ali bin Mohammed on the song "Ayal Hartna," in addition to many other sung poems.
He is also considered one of the prominent media figures in the world of journalism, having presented the program "Samreen" on "SBC" channel in 2019, and in 2020 he hosted the program "An Bu'd" on "Rotana Khalijia" channel. Some of his popular poems include: "Al-Za'al," "Al-Gharam," "Ramad Al-Shawq," "Ayal Hartna," "Lak Ain," "In Ba'tni," "Rijal Yam," "Maskeen," "Al-Dunya Ma Tiswa," "Al-Sayf," and "Al-Attlal," which has earned him a distinguished presence in the poetic and media scene in the Kingdom.
