توفي، صباح اليوم الإثنين، الموسيقار المصري الكبير هاني شنودة، عن عمر ناهز 83 عامًا، بعد مسيرة فنية امتدت لأكثر من خمسة عقود، ترك خلالها بصمة بارزة في تاريخ الموسيقى العربية، باعتباره أحد أبرز الملحنين والموزعين الموسيقيين في مصر.
وأعلن الإعلامي المصري محمود سعد نبأ الوفاة عبر صفحته الرسمية على موقع "فيسبوك"، حيث كتب: “مع السلامة يا عم هاني.. فنان جميل.. صادق.. أمتعنا.. ومضى وداعًا هاني شنودة.. وشكرًا لما قدمت.. خالص التعازي للأسرة ولكل محبيه”.
ويُعد هاني شنودة أحد رواد الموسيقى الحديثة في مصر، إذ أسس عام 1977 فرقة "المصريين"، التي أحدثت نقلة نوعية في الأغنية العربية من خلال إدخال التوزيع الموسيقي والهارموني بصورة غير مسبوقة، وهو المشروع الذي جاء بدعم وتشجيع من الأديب العالمي نجيب محفوظ.
وُلد الراحل في مدينة طنطا عام 1943، وتخرج في كلية التربية الموسيقية عام 1966، قبل أن يواصل دراسته في معهد الكونسرفتوار، ليبدأ بعدها رحلة فنية حافلة قادته إلى التعاون مع نخبة من كبار نجوم الغناء في مصر والعالم العربي.
ويُنسب إلى شنودة اكتشاف عدد من أبرز نجوم الغناء، وفي مقدمتهم الفنان محمد منير، الذي تولى تلحين وتوزيع ألبوماته الأولى، كما كان من أوائل الداعمين لمسيرة الفنان عمرو دياب، وأسهم في تقديمه فنيًا خلال بداياته، إلى جانب تعاونه مع نجاة الصغيرة وفايزة أحمد ومحمد الحلو، ومدحت صالح، وعلي الحجار، وأنوشكا، وغيرهم من كبار المطربين.

ولم تقتصر إسهامات الراحل على الأغنية، بل امتدت إلى الموسيقى التصويرية، حيث وضع الموسيقى لعدد من أشهر الأفلام المصرية، من بينها “المشبوه” و"الحريف" و"الغول"، لتصبح أعماله جزءًا من الذاكرة الفنية العربية.
ويُعد رحيل هاني شنودة خسارة كبيرة للساحة الفنية العربية، لما قدمه من إسهامات أسهمت في تطوير الموسيقى المصرية والعربية، وإثراء المشهد الفني بأعمال خالدة ما زالت تحظى بتقدير واسع لدى الجمهور والنقاد.
تكريمه في السعودية
وفي 2026، حظي الموسيقار هاني شنودة بتكريم خاص في العاصمة السعودية الرياض على خشبة مسرح أبو بكر سالم، في حفل تحت عنوان "ذكريات" احتفاء بالموسيقار المصري هاني شنودة بمناسبة ذكرى ميلاده الثمانين.
الحفل شارك فيه عدد من كبار النجوم العرب والمصريين -ومن بينهم عمرو دياب ومحمد منير وأحمد عدوية.
The great Egyptian musician Hani Shenouda passed away this morning, Monday, at the age of 83, after a artistic career that spanned more than five decades, during which he left a significant mark in the history of Arabic music, being one of the most prominent composers and music arrangers in Egypt.
The Egyptian media personality Mahmoud Saad announced the news of his death via his official page on "Facebook," where he wrote: “Goodbye, Uncle Hani.. a beautiful artist.. sincere.. who entertained us.. and he has departed. Farewell, Hani Shenouda.. and thank you for what you have given.. heartfelt condolences to the family and all his fans.”
Hani Shenouda is considered one of the pioneers of modern music in Egypt, having founded the band "Al-Masriyeen" in 1977, which brought about a qualitative shift in Arabic song by introducing musical arrangement and harmony in an unprecedented manner, a project that was supported and encouraged by the world-renowned writer Naguib Mahfouz.
The late musician was born in the city of Tanta in 1943 and graduated from the College of Music Education in 1966, before continuing his studies at the Conservatory Institute, after which he began a remarkable artistic journey that led him to collaborate with a selection of the biggest singing stars in Egypt and the Arab world.
Shenouda is credited with discovering several of the most prominent singing stars, including the artist Mohamed Mounir, for whom he composed and arranged his first albums. He was also one of the early supporters of the artist Amr Diab's career, contributing to his artistic presentation during his beginnings, alongside collaborating with Nagat Al-Saghira, Fayza Ahmed, Mohamed El Helw, Medhat Saleh, Ali El Haggar, Anoushka, and other major singers.

His contributions were not limited to song, but extended to film scores, where he composed music for several of the most famous Egyptian films, including "Al-Mashbouh," "Al-Hareef," and "Al-Ghoul," making his works a part of the Arab artistic memory.

In 2026, musician Hani Shenouda received a special honor in the Saudi capital Riyadh on the stage of Abu Bakr Salem, at a ceremony titled "Memories" celebrating the Egyptian musician Hani Shenouda on the occasion of his eightieth birthday.
The ceremony featured a number of major Arab and Egyptian stars, including Amr Diab, Mohamed Mounir, and Ahmed Adawiya.
