خففت محكمة مصرية عقوبة الفنان محمود حجازي في قضية الاعتداء على زوجته، من الحبس 6 أشهر إلى شهر واحد.

وأصدرت محكمة جنح أكتوبر في وقت سابق حكماً بحبس الفنان محمود حجازي لمدة 6 أشهر، مع كفالة مالية قدرها 5 آلاف جنيه، إضافة إلى إلزامه بدفع تعويض مدني مؤقت بقيمة 5 آلاف جنيه، بعد اتهامه بالتعدي على زوجته والتسبب في إصابتها بسبب خلافات أسرية.
وتعود تفاصيل القضية إلى بلاغ تقدمت به زوجة الفنان، اتهمته خلاله بالتعدي عليها داخل مدينة 6 أكتوبر، ما أدى إلى تعرضها لإصابات، وعلى الفور بدأت الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن الجيزة إجراءات الفحص والتحقيق في الواقعة. واستمعت جهات التحقيق إلى أقوال الطرفين، كما أجرت التحريات اللازمة لكشف ملابسات الواقعة، قبل أن تقرر النيابة العامة إخلاء سبيل الفنان محمود حجازي بكفالة مالية قدرها 10 آلاف جنيه، وإحالته إلى المحاكمة الجنائية. وخلال جلسات المحاكمة، نظرت المحكمة الاستئناف المقدم من دفاع الفنان على الحكم الصادر ضده، لتنتهي إلى تخفيف العقوبة من 6 أشهر إلى شهر واحد فقط.
An Egyptian court has reduced the sentence of artist Mahmoud Hijazi in the case of assaulting his wife, from 6 months in prison to just one month.
Details of the Verdict
The October Misdemeanor Court had previously issued a ruling sentencing artist Mahmoud Hijazi to 6 months in prison, with a financial bail of 5,000 Egyptian pounds, in addition to obligating him to pay a temporary civil compensation of 5,000 Egyptian pounds, after he was accused of assaulting his wife and causing her injuries due to family disputes.
The details of the case date back to a report filed by the artist's wife, in which she accused him of assaulting her in 6th of October City, resulting in her injuries. Immediately, the security agencies in Giza began procedures for examining and investigating the incident. The investigative authorities listened to the statements of both parties and conducted the necessary investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident, before the public prosecution decided to release artist Mahmoud Hijazi on a financial bail of 10,000 Egyptian pounds and referred him to criminal trial. During the trial sessions, the court reviewed the appeal submitted by the artist's defense against the ruling issued against him, ultimately deciding to reduce the sentence from 6 months to just one month.
