يجسد خالد سليم في مسلسل «مناعة» دور ضابط في مباحث المخدرات يدخل في صراع مباشر مع شخصية هند صبري، ضمن أحداث تمزج بين التشويق والبعد الاجتماعي.

أما في «المصيدة»، فيقدم شخصية مختلفة تقوم على صراعات نفسية وتعقيدات إنسانية، داخل حبكة تركز على العلاقات المتشابكة بين الشخصيات، ما يمنحه مساحة أوسع للأداء التمثيلي.
