تعرض بطلا مسلسل «صراع العروش» الممثلان البريطانيان كيت هارينغتون وروز ليزلي لسرقة منزلهما الريفي الواقع في مقاطعة سوفولك شرق إنجلترا.
اقتحامات متكررة
وذكرت تقارير صحفية بريطانية أن الواقعة جاءت ضمن سلسلة حوادث مشابهة شهدتها المنطقة قبل عيد الميلاد، إذ تعرضت منازل عدة في القرية لاقتحامات متكررة، من بينها مبنى ملحق بالمنزل العائد للزوجين، وهو مبنى تاريخي يرجع إلى القرن الخامس عشر ومُدرج ضمن قائمة المباني المحمية من الدرجة الثانية.
وبحسب المعلومات المتداولة، عزز هارينغتون وليزلي مستوى الأمان في محيط المنزل خلال السنوات الأخيرة، بعد رصد محاولات تسلل سابقة، من خلال تركيب بوابات مرتفعة من خشب البلوط الصلب، بهدف الحد من الرؤية الخارجية وتأمين الخصوصية.
تكثيف الدوريات
من جانبها، أكدت الشرطة المحلية تكثيف الدوريات في المناطق الريفية المحيطة، ودعت السكان إلى اتخاذ تدابير وقائية إضافية، في ظل تزايد البلاغات عن سرقات مماثلة.
ولم تُحسم بعد تفاصيل المسروقات، كما لم يُعرف ما إذا كان الزوجان أو طفلاهما، البالغان من العمر 4 سنوات وسنتين، متواجدين داخل المنزل أثناء الحادثة.
ويتنقل كيت هارينغتون وروز ليزلي بين سوفولك ولندن ولوس أنجلوس منذ زواجهما الذي أعقب تعارفهما خلال مشاركتهما في مسلسل «صراع العروش»، حيث جسد هارينغتون شخصية جون سنو، فيما عُرفت ليزلي بدور إيغريت.
واشترى هارينغتون المنزل ذا الطراز التيودوري المسقوف بالقش في 2017، وتحيط به نحو 8 أفدنة من الأراضي، قبل أن يتم الزواج في العام التالي في أسكتلندا بحضور عدد من زملائهما في العمل الدرامي.
وشملت أعمال التطوير الأولى التي نفذها الزوجان التركيز على تأمين المكان وتعزيز الخصوصية، خصوصاً بعد تكرار محاولات المراقبة والتسلل، وهو ما دفعهما إلى إجراء تعديلات واضحة على مداخل ومحيط العقار.

Repeated Break-ins
British media reports indicated that the incident was part of a series of similar occurrences in the area before Christmas, as several homes in the village experienced repeated break-ins, including a building attached to the couple's home, which is a historic structure dating back to the 15th century and listed as a Grade II protected building.
According to circulating information, Harington and Leslie have enhanced the security around their home in recent years, following previous attempts at intrusion, by installing tall oak wood gates to limit external visibility and ensure privacy.
Increased Patrols
For its part, the local police confirmed an increase in patrols in the surrounding rural areas and urged residents to take additional precautionary measures amid rising reports of similar thefts.
The details of the stolen items have not yet been confirmed, nor is it known whether the couple or their two children, aged 4 years and 2 years, were present in the house during the incident.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have been commuting between Suffolk, London, and Los Angeles since their marriage, which followed their acquaintance during their participation in the series "Game of Thrones," where Harington portrayed the character Jon Snow, while Leslie was known for her role as Ygritte.
Harington purchased the thatched Tudor-style home in 2017, surrounded by about 8 acres of land, before getting married the following year in Scotland with several of their colleagues from the drama series in attendance.
