أصدرت الشركة المنظمة لحفلَي الفنانين هاني شاكر وخالد سليم بياناً رسمياً رداً على اعتراض أسرة الفنان الراحل عبدالحليم حافظ، ممثلة في محمد شبانة، على استخدام اسم وصورة العندليب في الحفلين المقامين بالكويت.
رد حاسم من الشركة
أكدت الشركة أن بيان الأسرة تضمّن معلومات «غير دقيقة» وأساء إلى الشركة وأطراف أخرى، مشددة على احتفاظها بحق الرد القانوني، ومشيرة إلى أن حقوق استخدام الاسم والصورة ليست بحوزة الأسرة وحدها، وإنما تعود لطرف آخر.
تكريم يليق بالعندليب
أوضحت الشركة أن هدف الحفلين هو تقديم تكريم يليق بقيمة عبدالحليم حافظ الفنية، داعية أي طرف متضرر إلى اللجوء للقضاء، مع التأكيد على احترام إرث الفنان الراحل وجمهوره.

أعرب هاني شاكر عن أمله في احتواء الخلاف بعيداً عن ساحات المحاكم، مؤكداً أن وجود الجميع في الكويت هدفه تكريم العندليب، وأن الجمهور الكويتي يستحق الاستمتاع بإحياء أعماله الخالدة.
من جانبه، قال خالد سليم إن اسم وصورة عبدالحليم جزء من الوجدان العام، ولا يجوز منع إقامة الحفل، لافتاً إلى أن الفعالية نُفذت بأعلى مستويات التجهيز.

وكانت أسرة عبدالحليم حافظ قد تقدمت بطلب إلى النائب العام الكويتي لوقف حفل «ليلة حليم»، بدعوى استخدام الاسم والصورة دون موافقة الورثة، متهمة الشركة المنظمة بالتعدي على حقوق الملكية الفكرية، ومؤكدة اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية عاجلة ومتابعة تطورات القضية.

Hani Shakir expressed his hope to resolve the dispute away from the courts, affirming that everyone's presence in Kuwait aims to honor the nightingale, and that the Kuwaiti audience deserves to enjoy the revival of his timeless works.
For his part, Khaled Selim stated that the name and image of Abdel Halim are part of the public consciousness, and it is not permissible to prevent the concert from taking place, noting that the event was executed at the highest levels of preparation.
Legal Action by the Family
The family of Abdel Halim Hafez had submitted a request to the Kuwaiti Attorney General to stop the "Night of Halim" concert, claiming the use of the name and image without the heirs' consent, accusing the organizing company of infringing on intellectual property rights, and confirming that urgent legal measures are being taken to follow up on the developments of the case.
