فيما تناقلت وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أخيراً أنباء عن إيقاف الإعلامية المصرية ياسمين الخطيب لمدة 3 أشهر بناء على قرار المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام، أكدت ياسمين عدم إخطارها وقناة الشمس بالقرار بشكل رسمي، مشيرة إلى أن نقابة الإعلاميين نفت العقوبات بحقها.
لا عقوبات ولا مخالفات
ونشرت ياسمين الخطيب منشوراً عبر حسابها في «فيسبوك» نفت فيه إخطارها رسمياً بقرار الوقف الصادر لمدة 3 أشهر من المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام.
وقالت: «لم يتم إخطاري أو إخطار قناة الشمس بوقفي لمدة ٣ أشهر! القرار نُشر عبر صفحة المجلس على فيسبوك فقط، وقد تواصلت مع نقابة الإعلاميين التي نفت وجود أي عقوبات بحقي لعدم ارتكابي أي مخالفة».
التباس قانوني
كما أصدرت مالكة قناة الشمس سر الدغيدي بياناً علقت من خلاله على قرار إيقاف الإعلامية ياسمين الخطيب، مشيرة إلى وجود التباس في الأدوار القانونية داخل المنظومة الإعلامية.
وأوضحت في منشور لها عبر حسابها الرسمي على فيسبوك أن قرارات الإيقاف الخاصة بالإعلاميين والمذيعين لا بد أن تصدر من نقابة الإعلاميين فقط، بوصفها الجهة المسؤولة عن تراخيص مزاولة المهنة ومتابعة الأداء المهني.
ولفتت إلى أن دور المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام يقتصر فقط على تنظيم المحتوى وضبط المعايير المهنية دون التدخل في شؤون مزاولة المهنة نفسها، معتبرة أن القرارات الصادرة تحتاج إلى مراجعة لضمان توافقها مع القانون.
وأكدت عدم تسجيل أي مخالفة مهنية تستوجب إيقاف أو منع ظهور ياسمين الخطيب، مطالبة بإعادة النظر في القرار احتراماً للعقود الموقعة مع القناة والقواعد والضوابط الحاكمة للعمل الإعلامي، لضمان العدالة واحترام المنظومة والأدوار القانونية المنظمة للعمل الإعلامي في مصر.
أسباب الإيقاف
وأصدر المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام قراراً بإيقاف بسمة وهبة وياسمين الخطيب عن الظهور بعد أن تناولت وهبة أزمة الفنانة دينا الشربيني وهاجمت الفنانة مايا دياب بسبب تصريحاتها دفاعاً عن صديقتها، كما استدعى المجلس الأعلى للإعلام المسؤول عن إدارة حساب ياسمين الخطيب عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بعد أن أثارت الإعلامية جدلاً كبيراً بسبب أزمة الداعية عبدالله رشدي وظهورها بالحجاب بناءً على رغبته، وهو ما عرضها لهجوم على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
While social media recently circulated news about the suspension of Egyptian media personality Yasmin El Khatib for 3 months based on a decision from the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Yasmin confirmed that neither she nor Al Shams Channel was officially notified of the decision, noting that the Journalists Syndicate denied any penalties against her.
No Penalties or Violations
Yasmin El Khatib published a post on her "Facebook" account denying that she was officially notified of the suspension decision issued for 3 months by the Supreme Council for Media Regulation.
She stated: "I was not notified or informed that I was suspended for 3 months! The decision was only published on the council's Facebook page, and I contacted the Journalists Syndicate, which denied the existence of any penalties against me for not committing any violation."
Legal Ambiguity
The owner of Al Shams Channel, Sarra El Daghidi, also issued a statement commenting on the decision to suspend media personality Yasmin El Khatib, indicating that there is ambiguity in the legal roles within the media system.
She clarified in a post on her official Facebook account that suspension decisions for media professionals and presenters must only be issued by the Journalists Syndicate, as it is the responsible body for licensing the practice of the profession and monitoring professional performance.
She pointed out that the role of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation is limited to regulating content and maintaining professional standards without interfering in the affairs of practicing the profession itself, considering that the issued decisions need to be reviewed to ensure their compliance with the law.
She confirmed that there were no recorded professional violations that would warrant the suspension or prohibition of Yasmin El Khatib's appearance, calling for a reconsideration of the decision in respect of the contracts signed with the channel and the rules and regulations governing media work, to ensure justice and respect for the system and the legal roles regulating media work in Egypt.
Reasons for Suspension
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation issued a decision to suspend Basma Wahba and Yasmin El Khatib from appearing after Wahba addressed the crisis of artist Dina El Sherbiny and attacked artist Maya Diab for her statements defending her friend. The Supreme Council for Media Regulation also summoned the person responsible for managing Yasmin El Khatib's account on social media after the media personality sparked significant controversy due to the crisis involving preacher Abdullah Rushdy and her appearance in a hijab at his request, which exposed her to attacks on social media.
