أعلن المخرج المصري محمد سامي، خوض تجربة التمثيل للمرة الأولى في موسم رمضان 2026.
وقال خلال استضافته على قناة «النهار»: سأشارك في مسلسل يحمل اسم «8 طلقات»، وهو أول عمل لي ممثلاً وليس مخرجاً.
وأضاف: «المسلسل فكرتي، كتبت له المعالجة وكنت سأكتبه وأخرجه كعادتي، إلى أن استقر الأمر في النهاية لأكون بطل العمل لا مخرجه».
وأكد أنه سيخضع تماماً لرؤية المخرج، كما يفعل كبار الفنانين المحترفين، ضارباً المثل بالفنان أحمد السقا بالقول: «فوجئت به وهو نجم كبير له اسمه في أول تعاون فني بيننا بمسلسل «ولد الغلابة»، حيث تعامل باحترام كبير مع الجميع ملبياً كل التعليمات بمنتهى التواضع».
وكشف سامي أنه لم يخض تجربة العمل كمساعد مخرج قبل إخراج أولى أعماله، مؤكداً أنه لو فعل لكان تعلم كيفية التصريح لوسائل الإعلام والتعامل مع المشكلات والانتقادات التي توجه له من وقت لآخر.
وأضاف: «كنت أتمنى العمل كمساعد مخرج مع مخرجي المفضل طارق العريان وقد سعيت لذلك، إلا أن قلة أعمال العريان لم تمكنه من الانتظار طويلاً فقرر بدء أولى أعماله مسلسل «آدم» مع النجم تامر حسني».
The Egyptian director Mohamed Sami announced that he will experience acting for the first time in the Ramadan season of 2026.
He said during his appearance on Al-Nahar channel: "I will participate in a series titled '8 Shots', which is my first work as an actor and not as a director."
He added: "The series is my idea; I wrote the treatment for it and was going to write and direct it as I usually do, until it was finally decided that I would be the lead actor and not the director."
He confirmed that he will completely adhere to the director's vision, just like professional artists do, citing the example of artist Ahmed El Sakka by saying: "I was surprised by him as he is a big star with his own name in our first artistic collaboration in the series 'The Son of the Poor', where he treated everyone with great respect, fulfilling all instructions with utmost humility."
Sami revealed that he did not experience working as an assistant director before directing his first works, confirming that if he had, he would have learned how to communicate with the media and deal with the problems and criticisms directed at him from time to time.
He added: "I wished to work as an assistant director with my favorite director Tarek El Erian, and I sought that, but the scarcity of El Erian's works did not allow him to wait long, so he decided to start his first work, the series 'Adam', with star Tamer Hosny."
