طمأنت الفنانة المصرية الكبيرة سمية الألفي جمهورها على حالتها الصحية، بعد انتشار صور لها أثناء زيارتها نجلها الفنان المصري أحمد الفيشاوي في موقع تصوير فيلمه الجديد «سفاح التجمع»، المقرر طرحه بدور العرض بعد انتهاء التصوير قريباً.
وأكدت سمية الألفي في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ» أنها تتمتع بصحة جيدة، مشيرة إلى أنها تخضع من وقت لآخر لفحوصات وتحاليل طبية للاطمئنان على حالتها، بعد رحلة تعافيها من مرض السرطان في السنوات الماضية.
وعن سبب زيارتها المفاجئة لموقع التصوير، أوضحت أنها رغبت في إسعاد نجلها بمفاجأة، خصوصاً أنه يعمل بجد واجتهاد على مشروع تراهن فيه على أدائه المختلف، لافتةً إلى أن قصة الفيلم جريئة وتم تناولها من زاوية مختلفة.
ودافعت سمية الألفي عن نجلها أحمد الفيشاوي الذي يجسد شخصية «سفاح» ضمن الأحداث، مؤكدة أن الانتقادات المسبقة ما هي إلا حملات مدفوعة من بعض المنافسين، مشددة على ضرورة مشاهدة الفيلم كاملاً قبل إطلاق أي أحكام.
وعن إمكانية عودتها للتمثيل، حسمت سمية الجدل بأنها لن تظهر في فيلم «سفاح التجمع»، مضيفة أنها قدمت للجمهور ما يكفي من أدوار، ولم يعد هناك عمل فني جيد يستفزها بالعودة من جديد.

Somaya El Alfy confirmed in a special statement to "Okaz" that she is in good health, noting that she undergoes medical tests and analyses from time to time to ensure her well-being, following her recovery journey from cancer in recent years.
Regarding the reason for her unexpected visit to the filming location, she explained that she wanted to surprise her son and make him happy, especially since he is working hard on a project that she bets on his different performance, pointing out that the film's story is bold and has been approached from a different angle.
Somaya El Alfy defended her son Ahmed El Fishawy, who plays the character of "The Killer" in the film, asserting that the prior criticisms are merely paid campaigns from some competitors, emphasizing the importance of watching the entire film before passing any judgments.
As for the possibility of her returning to acting, Somaya clarified that she will not appear in "The Killer of the Gathering," adding that she has given the audience enough roles, and there is no artistic work that excites her enough to return again.
