فاجأ الفنان المصري محمد رمضان جمهوره بإعلانه غيابه عن المشاركة في منافسات موسم دراما رمضان القادم للعام الثالث على التوالي، بعد أن كان هناك مشروع درامي بدأ التحضير له بالفعل.
وكشف «رمضان»، خلال مؤتمر صحفي في لبنان، سبب الغياب، حيث قال إنه متفرغ بالفترة الحالية لإنتاج أفلام كثيرة في مسيرته الفنية وإحياء حفلات للجمهور، لذلك قرر الغياب عن الدراما هذا العام، معلقاً: «هغيب كمان في 2026 زي 2024 و2025، لأني متفرغ للأفلام والحفلات، ومتابعتش أي عمل رمضاني آخر سنتين بسبب السفر».
وتابع رمضان: «مش عايز أبقى بعمل مسلسلات دراما كتير، أنا النهارده عندي 8 مسلسلات بطولة دا رقم كبير على سني، النهارده عندي 37 سنة عندى 8 مسلسلات، طب وأنا عندي 50 سنة هيبقى عندي كام 80 مسلسل مثلا؟، أكيد وقتها هتزهق مني وتدور على فنان غيري».
وكان آخر أعمال الدرامية في موسم دراما 2023، حين حقق نجاحاً كبيراً بمسلسل «جعفر العمدة»، وشارك فيه بجانب عدد كبير من الفنانين من بينهم هالة صدقي وإيمان العاصي ومنة فضالي وزينة وعدد آخر من الفنانين.
وفي سياق آخر، ينتظر محمد رمضان عرض فيلمه الجديد «أسد» في دور العرض السينمائية خلال الفترة القادمة، وينتمي العمل إلى نوعية الأعمال الأكشن التاريخية، التي تعتمد على ميزانية إنتاجية ضخمة.
ويجمع فيلم «أسد» رفقة محمد رمضان كلاً من رزان جمال، وعلي قاسم، وماجد الكدواني، والسودانية إسلام مبارك، وأحمد داش، والفلسطيني كامل الباشا، والعمل من إخراج محمد دياب، وتأليف شيرين دياب، ومحمد دياب، وخالد دياب، ويتولى الموسيقى التصويرية للفيلم هشام نزيه.
The Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan surprised his audience by announcing his absence from participating in the upcoming Ramadan drama season for the third consecutive year, after there was a dramatic project that had already begun preparations.
During a press conference in Lebanon, Ramadan revealed the reason for his absence, stating that he is currently focused on producing many films in his artistic career and holding concerts for his audience. Therefore, he decided to skip drama this year, commenting: "I will also be absent in 2026 like in 2024 and 2025, because I am dedicated to films and concerts, and I haven't followed any Ramadan drama for the last two years due to travel."
Ramadan continued: "I don't want to be making too many drama series. Today, I have 8 leading series, which is a big number for my age. Today, I am 37 years old and I have 8 series. So when I am 50, how many will I have, 80 series maybe? Surely by then, you will get bored of me and look for another artist."
His last dramatic work in the 2023 drama season was when he achieved great success with the series "Jaafar El Omda," in which he participated alongside a large number of artists including Hala Sedky, Eman El Assi, Mona Fadali, Zeina, and several other artists.
In another context, Mohamed Ramadan is awaiting the release of his new film "Lion" in cinemas in the upcoming period. The work belongs to the genre of historical action films, which rely on a massive production budget.
The film "Lion" features alongside Mohamed Ramadan Razan Jamal, Ali Qassem, Magdy Kdwan, Sudanese Islam Mubarak, Ahmed Dash, and Palestinian Kamel El Bashah. The work is directed by Mohamed Diab, written by Sherine Diab, Mohamed Diab, and Khaled Diab, with the film's score composed by Hisham Nazih.
