في خطوة مفاجئة، أعلنت المطربة السورية سارة فرح اعتزالها الفن بشكل نهائي، مبررة ذلك بأنها تعرضت للعديد من الإحباط وفقدان الشغف خلال الفترة الأخيرة أثرت على حالتها النفسية، وجعلتها تُقبل على تلك الخطوة.
وشاركت سارة فرح، جمهورها، مقطع فيديو عبر حسابها الشخصي على منصة «إنستغرام»، وقالت إنها لم تحقق حلمها كأي امرأة في فكرة تكوين حياة زوجية والشعور بالحب والدفء، بجانب كشفها أن مرض والدتها كان نقطة التحول الكبرى في حياتها.
وتابعت المطربة السورية: «الحياة ادتني على راسي وأنا بالنهاية أنثى كل أحلامي أحب وأتحب وأعيش حياة طبيعية ويكون حد مسؤول عني، طبعًا دي حاجة مش متوفرة ليا وفي آخر 5 سنين اتسرق مني عمري وطموحي وأحلامي، وانطفت شرارة اللي جوايا».
وأوضحت أن إصابة والدتها بوعكة صحية قبل نحو ثلاثة أشهر كانت بمثابة الانهيار الكامل لعالمها، مضيفة: «آخر شيء مرض أمي من شهرين أو ثلاثة أشهر، وانهار عالمي ومش قادرة أتحمل اللي بيحصل، أمي هي نور حياتي».
واختتمت سارة فرح حديثها بأنه أصبح ليس لديها الشغف في الاستمرارية بمجال الفن، قائلة: «معنديش شغف أني أكمل بالفن ولا عندي قدرة وإيد لوحدها ما بتصقفش، أنا بشكر ربنا على كل شيء حتى لو صعب وتقيل، وأكيد رايح للأفضل».

Sarah Farah shared a video clip with her audience via her personal account on the "Instagram" platform, stating that she has not fulfilled her dream, like any woman, of building a married life and feeling love and warmth. She also revealed that her mother's illness was the major turning point in her life.
The Syrian singer continued: "Life has hit me hard, and in the end, I am a woman whose dreams are to love, be loved, and live a normal life with someone responsible for me. Of course, this is something that is not available to me, and in the last five years, my life, ambitions, and dreams have been stolen from me, and the spark inside me has gone out."
She explained that her mother's health crisis about three months ago was the complete collapse of her world, adding: "The last thing was my mother's illness two or three months ago, and my world collapsed, and I can't bear what is happening. My mother is the light of my life."
Sarah Farah concluded her statement by saying that she no longer has the passion to continue in the field of art, stating: "I don't have the passion to continue in the arts, nor do I have the ability, and one hand alone cannot clap. I thank God for everything, even if it is difficult and heavy, and I am definitely heading for better things."
