أعلنت هيئة الموسيقى تنظيم «مهرجان الطار» في نسخته الأولى بالتزامن مع فعاليات كأس العالم للرياضات الإلكترونية بمدينة الرياض، خلال الفترة من 20 - 23 أغسطس الجاري، في مسرح أبوبكر سالم بالبوليفارد.
ويأتي المهرجان احتفاءً بالموروث الموسيقي السعودي، ويسلط الضوء على جماليات آلة الطار بصفته عنصرًا ثقافيًا في الهوية الموسيقية الوطنية، ويتضمن المهرجان فعاليات فنية وأنشطة مصاحبة مُثرية، مثل أركان مستوحاة من سوق الحلة للآلات الموسيقية، وتجارب تفاعلية للجمهور، وأركان التصوير، مما يعزز من إثراء تجربة الزوار.
ويعد مهرجان الطار، نافذةً فنية وحدثًا ثقافيًا مميزًا يدعم المواهب المحلّية من خلال تخصيص مساحة للتفاعل مع شرائح متنوعة من الجمهور، في أجواء غنيّة بالأصالة والبهجة والإبداع، كما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة العاصمة الرياض وجهةً للمهرجانات الثقافية.

The Music Authority announced the organization of the "Tar Festival" in its first edition, coinciding with the events of the World Cup for Electronic Sports in Riyadh, from August 20 to 23, at the Abu Bakr Salem Theater in the Boulevard.
The festival comes in celebration of the Saudi musical heritage and highlights the beauty of the tar instrument as a cultural element in the national musical identity. The festival includes artistic events and enriching accompanying activities, such as sections inspired by the Al-Hillah market for musical instruments, interactive experiences for the audience, and photography corners, enhancing the visitors' experience.
The Tar Festival is an artistic window and a distinctive cultural event that supports local talents by providing a space for interaction with diverse segments of the audience, in an atmosphere rich with authenticity, joy, and creativity. It also contributes to enhancing the status of the capital, Riyadh, as a destination for cultural festivals.
The festival is part of the Music Authority's efforts to highlight Saudi musical culture, enhance its presence in the cultural scene, and establish its status in modern lifestyle, in addition to offering inspiring artistic events and experiences that combine supporting talents with preserving local heritage and presenting it to various audiences in the Kingdom and visitors from around the world.
