كشفت الفنانة السورية أصالة نصري، إمكانية عودتها إلى بلدها سورية نهاية شهر أغسطس الجاري بعد غياب 15 عامًا.
وقالت أصالة خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقدته قبل حفلها في مهرجان «جرش» بالأردن: «زيارة تشفي غليلي وتريح المحبين الذين انتظروني كل هذه السنوات، وتعوض هذه الأوجاع التي شعرت فيها على مدار 15 عامًا».
وتابعت: «هناك شروط بمجرد تحقيقها سأتواجد في سورية»، مضيفة: «قد أكون في نهاية آب (أغسطس) هناك».
ومن جهة أخرى أوضحت أصالة أنها اختارت الفنانة أمل عرفة لتجسيد سيرتها الذاتية في فيلم سينمائي، مبينة أنها كانت صديقتها في المدرسة وتجمعهما ذكريات كثيرة معاً.
وتابعت: «أراها تتمتع بموهبة غير عادية، ووالدها صديق والدي».
وفي فبراير الماضي، أعلن المنتج السوري أنس نصري، شقيق الفنانة أصالة نصري، استعدادات مكثفة تجري حالياً لعودة شقيقته إلى سورية بعد سنوات من الغياب، وتنظيم حفل غنائي كبير.
كما كشف نصري أن «العمل جارٍ على قدم وساق لضمان نجاح الحدث»، مؤكدًا أن شقيقته «متحمسة لهذه الخطوة».
Syrian artist Assala Nasri revealed the possibility of her returning to her home country, Syria, at the end of August after a 15-year absence.
Assala said during the press conference she held before her concert at the Jerash Festival in Jordan: "This visit satisfies my longing and comforts the fans who have waited for me all these years, compensating for the pains I felt over the past 15 years."
She continued: "There are conditions that, once fulfilled, I will be in Syria," adding: "I might be there by the end of August."
On another note, Assala clarified that she chose artist Amal Arafa to portray her life story in a cinematic film, indicating that they were friends in school and share many memories together.
She added: "I see that she has an extraordinary talent, and her father is a friend of my father."
Last February, Syrian producer Anas Nasri, Assala Nasri's brother, announced that intensive preparations are currently underway for his sister's return to Syria after years of absence, and for organizing a large concert.
Nasri also revealed that "work is in full swing to ensure the success of the event," confirming that his sister is "excited about this step."
